Denis Frimpong sticks up for Paddy Pimblett after being choked out by the UFC star
After engaging in an online feud, Paddy Pimblett and Denis Frimpong, who’s made a reputation for his relentless trash talk in Oktagon MMA, decided to settle their differences once and for all.
Heading into enemy territory, ‘The Baddy’ arrived at Manchester Top Team in front of a large crowd and attempted to defend his honor.
The warriors had a competitive battle on the feet, before the former Cage Warriors champion decided to take the fight to the floor.
Despite his best efforts, the Irishman struggled to fend off Pimblett’s high-level jiu-jitsu skills, with the Scouser locking in a submission that forced him to tap.

However, rather than letting go, Pimblett held on, forcing a number of people to intervene.
Of course, some have taken issue with what transpired, believing the 30-year-old ought to have released his opponent.
But according to Frimpong himself, all is fair in love and war.
He tweeted: “To everyone chatting s**t about @PaddyTheBaddy not letting the choke go, chill out. It’s a f***ing choke. I didn’t even go unconscious, and it was a straightener scrap. I went in fully expecting that if he caught a choke, he was gonna try put me out, don’t chat s**t you don’t know.”

Of course, rather than ignoring these individuals, the lightweight star has fired back.
In an angry social media post, he explained exactly why he did what he did.
