KSI booed as he announces boxing comeback against Premier League winner with only one fight

KSI received a frosty response as he announced his return to the ring against a retired soccer star, who hasn’t fought since his debut in 2018.

It’s fair to say the match-up wasn’t what the crowd was expecting.

KSI is set to fight Wayne Bridge

KSI has seemingly confirmed his eagerly-anticipated comeback against former Chelsea soccer icon Wayne Bridge.

The bout is a bizarre one, considering the defender has only entered the ring on one occasion, in a decision victory over Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews.

During the contest, Bridge showcased natural athleticism, cruising to victory, and thus could’ve potentially been a favorite against KSI had they fought at the time.

However, in the years since, ‘The Nightmare’ has amassed significantly more experience, and at 44-years-of-age, the left back is likely to have passed his peak.

KSI invited Bridge into the ring to a chorus of boos from the spectators inside the Co-op Live in Manchester, UK, who were seemingly displeased with the idea of a clash between the pair of British stars.

To make matters worse, the YouTuber then made a reference to a very public affair Bridge’s ex-wife had with fellow soccer player John Terry.

The distasteful remark received enormous backlash from the crowd, who continued to voice their displeasure.

The contest looks set to take place on March 29.

Afghan Dan vs Little T result: Horror injury puts end to comical Misfits Boxing grudge fight

While tensions erupted between KSI and Bridge, with the rivals engaging in a shoving match, it didn’t have a patch on Little T vs Afghan Dan.

The pair of Blackpool grime artists, who were once friends, have developed a deeply sour relationship, with the Englishman agreeing that fighting in the ring was the only way to settle their beef.

The younger man started at a furious pace, dropping his rival in the first round.

However, after surviving the storm, the tide began to turn, with Afghan Dan coming on strong, until disaster struck, with the rapper sustaining a horrifying injury.
