Jamahal Hill has lost a tremendous amount of weight to get ready for UFC 311.
The former light-heavyweight champion hasn’t fought since suffering a first-round knockout loss against Alex Pereira at UFC 300 last April.
On Saturday night, ‘Sweet Dreams’ will square off against fellow Pereira KO victim, Jiri Prochazka, in an eagerly anticipated 205lb title eliminator at the Intuit Dome in California.
24 hours prior, Jamahal Hill will hit the scales to weigh in and make his 55lb body transformation official.

Jamahal Hill details weight loss journey ahead of UFC 311
Hill was supposed to make his comeback against Carlos Ulberg at UFC 303 last June.
Unfortunately, a litany of injury issues forced him off the card and led to a lengthy spell out of action.
“Two tears in my meniscus, sprained my ACL, a Baker Cyst that leaked fluid in the back of my knee, and an infusion in some joints!” Hill wrote on Instagram at the time.
The 33-year-old decided to give his body the proper time to heal, which led to him gaining some weight.
However, it ultimately paid dividends as he is feeling great ahead of his clash with Prochazka this weekend.
“It’s been smooth,” Hill said about his weight loss journey during UFC 311 media day on Wednesday.
“I believe after the injury I was probably about 260lbs. A couple of times, when I wanted to try to test it out, to go train, it wasn’t really feeling [healed].
“This was back in August or September. So, I took some time and decided to just kind of rest and let it heal up. It was a good decision because I’m getting some good results with that.
“The weight cut hasn’t really been tough at all. I’ve had my girl, Adaire [Byerly], she’s been doing the meal preps, she’s been talking with the great Ian Larios, and they’ve been coming up with the meal plans.
“So, I still eat really good food. She’s a phenomenal cook.”
Michael Bisping predicts carnage at UFC 311
Michael Bisping is particularly excited about watching Hill vs Prochazka at UFC 311.
The former middleweight champion and Hall of Famer expects fireworks when the 205lb contenders meet.
“I cannot wait for his fight,” Bisping told TNT Sports.
“This could be Fight of the Night. As long as it lasts, it’s going to be one of the most exciting fights you’re ever going to see.
“Somebody is going to get knocked out cold. I guarantee it”
