Undefeated boxer Tommy Fury wants a shot at UFC superstar Conor McGregor after rumored Logan Paul fight talks stalled.
If Conor McGregor remains insistent on a return to the boxing ring later this year, it seems a new challenger has risen to the conversation after Tommy Fury shot his shot on social media.
McGregor is linked to a potential boxing fight with Logan Paul in India later this year. Logan was the first name to surface after McGregor revealed he was in ‘preliminary agreements’ to face the polarizing personality in the ring.
As of this writing, nothing has been formally announced regarding McGregor’s targeted return to the ring. But that hasn’t stopped speculation from running rampant regarding what a fight between McGregor and Paul would look like.
Earlier this week, the excitement behind McGregor vs. Paul seemed to simmer down after reports surfaced that Paul withdrew from the fight talks to focus on his WWE career. KSI, a former opponent of Fury and Paul, entered the mix for McGregor’s next boxing match in a separate callout.
It didn’t take long for Fury, who was supposed to face Darren Till later this month in the ring, to weigh in.

Tommy Fury vs. Conor McGregor?
In a recent tweet, Fury called out McGregor amidst the KSI fight rumors.
“[Conor] don’t waste your time with beaten fighters. Fight the man who’s beaten them all and still has his 0,” Fury tweeted Thursday.
“I’ll be waiting.”
Fury withdrew from his Misfits Boxing match with Till after the former UFC title challenger threatened to throw illegal strikes during a pre-fight press conference. Till will now face Fury’s former rival, Anthony Taylor, on January 18th.
As of this writing, McGregor hasn’t responded to Fury’s callout. In addition to a potential boxing return, McGregor is working towards a targeted return to MMA later this year after withdrawing from UFC 303 last June.
Tommy Fury, KSI enter the mix for Conor McGregor showdown
Fury hasn’t competed in the ring since defeating KSI by unanimous decision in Oct. 2023. The brother of heavyweight boxing star Tyson Fury is 10-0 in his boxing career with recent wins over Jake Paul, Daniel Bocianski, and Jordan Grant.
McGregor’s lone professional boxing match took place against Hall of Famer Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2017, losing by late-round TKO. He’s since teased returns to the ring against the likes of Manny Pacquiao and both Paul brothers.
If rumored fights with KSI and the Paul brothers don’t materialize, McGregor and Fury could potentially come face-to-face later this year. In the meantime, the wait continues for the UFC superstar’s return to fighting.
