Kimbo Slice Jr hits back at Tik Tok star Bryce Hall’s claim he backed out of BKFC fight

Kimbo Slice Jr has slammed claims that he was the one to cause the cancellation of his fight with Bryce Hall this month.

The pair were set to scrap it out in Philadelphia on January 25 at BKFC’s annual KnuckleMania showcase, but it was announced on Tuesday that the bout was off. Hall claimed that it was Slice, whose real name is Kevin Ferguson Jr, who pulled out, but he disputes the claim.

Hall has already fought in the squared circle once before; stopping Gee Perez in August of 2023. Meanwhile, Slice was coming over from the world of MMA and celebrity boxing, where he had mixed success.

Bryce Hall claims Kimbo Slice Jr pulled out of BKFC fight

On Tuesday, Bryce Hall took to social media to announce that his planned return to the BKFC ring had been cancelled just weeks out. He claimed that Kimbo Slice Jr had ghosted the promotion and boss David Feldman after signing up for the bout.

The pair had been due to face off in Florida last month, but Slice skipped the event, and Hall says that he has since been MIA for all promotional efforts. “I’m not fighting Kimbo Slice Jr on January 25 and even I can’t believe why,” Hall told fans on Instagram.

“I’m not a lawyer or anything, but I don’t understand how this whole situation is OK. Terms were already agreed, paperwork was already done, contract were already done – everything was done. We did the whole f***ing nine yards, you know?

“Then after all that’s done, someone can just go, ‘All right, peace. Just kidding, I’m not doing it.’ But as of today, Kimbo Slice Jr., he just doesn’t exist as a person. He doesn’t respond to anybody. He ghosted Dave Feldman, the owner of BKFC.

“He ghosted everybody and the guy just doesn’t exist anymore, I guess. I couldn’t fight a nobody. Honestly, it’s whatever. I’m just going to run with the narrative that Kimbo Slice Jr. is afraid of Bryce Hall. That’s what you guys should comment across all his platforms.

“Like, Kimbo Slice Jr is afraid of Tik Tok dancing Bryce Hall that he pulled out of the fight January 25. But I will still be attending, I guess just instead of getting punched in the face bare knuckle I will be in the audience drinking a beer, or something.”

However, this version of events is not what ‘Baby Slice’ believes happened. He reckons that he was training and ready to stop the social media star, who has won one in BKFC and lost his sole boxing match so far.

“Yo, if y’all think I backed out of fighting Bryce Hall y’all are crazy as hell,” Slice told fans in an Instagram story which was reposted by the official BKFC page. “I was going to beat this dude up, I was going to break his ribs.

“I was going to take him into the deep ends of the fight and beat the s*** out of this kid. Don’t believe what the internet is saying, I was going to break this dude up.”
