UFC boss Dana White has promised to ‘kick a**’ in 2025.
The MMA mogul is fresh off another big year, which included countless knockouts, some seriously slick submissions, and a $20million event at the Las Vegas Sphere.
Dana White isn’t a man who rests on his laurels, and he made that much clear by kicking off the new year by sending an empathic nine-word message to his 9.9million Instagram followers.
It seemingly suggested that more exciting fights and epic events are coming in the next 12 months.
Dana White sends 2025 message
Dana White typically uses his social media pages to announce fight news and document his fitness journey after previously completing a dramatic body transformation.
However, as the clock struck midnight on New Year’s Eve, the UFC CEO took to his Instagram story to outline his plans for the year ahead.
“Hey 2025… … I’m coming to kick your f***in a**,” White wrote.
He added: “Happy New Year Everyone.”
White’s emphatic message will have excited UFC fans following his account.
The 55-year-old is the most powerful man in MMA and if the fights everyone wants to see 2025 are to happen, he’ll play a vital role in bringing them to fruition.
What can we expect from the UFC in 2025?
Dana White’s top priority this year is to make a heavyweight unification fight between Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall.
After the last UFC event of 2024, White ‘100 percent’ guaranteed the matchup would take place soon after suggesting it could be the biggest fight in company history.
Conor McGregor is also expected to make his comeback in 2025. However, his UFC future seems unclear as he’s recently been discussing a boxing exhibition with Logan Paul.
For the most part, 2025 remains a mystery as much of the fight year is yet to be announced by MMA’s premier promotion.
However, White recently excited fans by revealing that he’s working on something ‘crazy’.
“I anticipate a lot of big fights,” White said.
“I’ve got something in the works right now that will drive you f***ers crazy, all you guys would be running around.
“I got something in the works that you will never f***ing see coming for 2025, that literally started to come together last night.
“Yeah, we’ve got some fun stuff coming up.”
