KSI sent a message to his former boxing rival Tommy Fury after Darren Till got a new foe for his upcoming return.
Former UFC title challenger Darren Till won’t face Tommy Fury in his professional boxing debut following Fury’s recent withdrawal from the fight. Instead, he’ll face a Misfits Boxing champion in his return to the ring.
Till, as announced earlier this week, will face Anthony ‘Pretty Boy’ Taylor in the MF & DAZN X Series 20 main event on January 18th in Manchester. He and Fury were supposed to headline the card before Fury withdrew following several Till threats to break boxing rules when they meet in the ring.
Taylor holds the MF light heavyweight championship after wins over Kenny Ojuederie, Samuel Ericsson, and Gabriel Silva, the son of UFC Hall of Famer Anderson Silva. The fight will take place as a cruiserweight bout capped at a catchweight, and Taylor’s light heavyweight belt won’t be on the line against Till.
Following Fury’s withdrawal and Till’s newly announced opponent, KSI didn’t take long to roast his former opponent and tout the new matchup.

KSI reacts to Darren Till’s new fight announcement after Tommy Fury’s withdrawal
KSI weighed in on the new Till vs. Taylor matchup on his Instagram story and threw shade at his former opponent.
“F*** Tommy Fury, now we got a real fight,” KSI posted.
KSI recently opined that Fury withdrew from the Till fight due to him being ‘scared’ of the former UFC star. Fury revealed he pulled out of the bout after several press conference threats from Till to kick him in the boxing ring.
Fury hasn’t competed since defeating KSI by unanimous decision last year. The undefeated boxer has tallied wins over Jake Paul, Jordan Grant, and Taylor during his fighting career.
KSI, along with being one of the leaders of Misfits Boxing’s growth, is also planning on a return to the ring next year. A potential fight with Paul has been tossed around in recent months, despite Paul’s business partner pitching a wild financial offer to make the fight happen.

Till makes his boxing return in an exhibition debut against Mohammad Mutie in July, winning by second-round TKO. While Till is focused on his upcoming boxing venture, the UK star also has a potential return to the UFC Octagon firmly on his radar.
Before parting ways with the UFC last year, Till suffered losses in five of his last six fights, including defeats to Dricus du Plessis and Derek Brunson. He made the full-time move to middleweight following a knockout loss to Jorge Masvidal in March 2019.
The bad blood between KSI and Fury remains thick despite more than a full year removed from their boxing match. While a rematch is unlikely to take place anytime soon, tensions continue to build between the two polarizing boxers.
