It’s fair to say that ahead of his historic rematch against Oleksandr Usyk this coming Saturday, Tyson Fury has done everything he can to ensure he is in prime shape.
Tyson Fury has been heavily criticized for under-preparing for his fights in the past, however, ahead of his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk, ‘The Gypsy King’ is leaving no stone unturned.
Even to the point that the former heavyweight champion has cut off contact with his wife, Paris Fury, for the past three months he has been in strict preparation for his fight.

Tyson Fury’s wife breaks her silence after Fury’s no-contact admittance
For his huge fight against Francis Ngannou last year, ‘The Gypsy King’ came in at a career-high weight of 277.7lbs, and his under-preparation and lack of respect for Ngannou’s boxing ability showed when they fought to an extremely close split decision.
Despite that, ahead of his heavyweight title rematch with the Ukrainian this coming Saturday, the 36-year-old Brit made the shocking revelation that he has not been in contact with his family for the past three months.
“It’s been a long camp, I haven’t seen my wife and kids in three months. I haven’t spoken to (my wife) at all in three months. Not one word, sacrificed a lot. But it’ll all be worth it. 100 percent,” Fury told Queensberry Promotions.
Initially, fans didn’t truly believe the extent of Fury’s comments, wondering if he was potentially exaggerating how little contact he has had with his family during his fight prep.
However, his wife, Paris Fury, has now broken her silence following Tyson’s admittance, backing up the fact that they have had no contact.
Sharing a clip of ‘The Gypsy King’ talking about his sacrifice on her Instagram story, Paris said: “People don’t see the sacrifices made. I’ve let him solely concentrate on this fight. It seems like he’s been gone forever, especially with no contact. But if it’s what he needs.”
Tyson Fury dismisses the idea of a potential clash against Anthony Joshua
Ahead of his rematch against Usyk, Fury has dismissed the idea of a potential future clash against Anthony Joshua.
Promoter at Queensberry Promotion, Frank Warren, recently revealed that if the 36-year-old is successful in exacting revenge this Saturday, there is a clause in place for a historic trilogy fight.
With that, Fury is not interested in a potential clash with ‘AJ’, claiming that the British power puncher is ‘in tatters’ following his recent loss to Daniel Dubois and that he needs to pick up the pieces of that loss before he can be in the heavyweight title conversation again.
