UFC insider claims he knows which ‘crazy fight that no one will see coming’ Dana White is working on for 2025

With the UFC having its most successful year yet in 2024, Dana White has already begun teasing ‘crazy’ things for 2025.

Every year, the UFC seemingly one-ups itself and in 2024, it experienced its most successful year in 31 years of existence breaking records on events like UFC 303, UFC 306, and UFC 309.

With that, fans have already begun wondering how the promotion will improve their on success next year and how they will continue to improve their product.

Brendan Schaub claims he knows the ‘crazy fight’ Dana White is working on

Following UFC Tampa this past Saturday, UFC CEO Dana White went backstage to speak to the media about the final event of the year, as well as reviewing the UFC’s 2024.

With that, White teased that he is currently working on a ‘crazy fight that no one will see coming’ which has left fans questioning what it could be.

“Every year over the last 17 years, I’ve said, ‘How is next year gonna be bigger than this year?”. And some of the stuff we’re working on is, on multiple levels,” he explained in the UFC Tampa post-fight press conference.

“I anticipate a lot of big fights. I’ve got something in the works right now, it’ll drive you f*ckers crazy. All you guys will be running around (trying to find out). I’ve got something in the works that you will never f*cking see coming for 2025 that literally started to come together last night,” he continued.

Former UFC heavyweight contender, Brendan Schaub believes he knows the fight White is working on that will blow fans’ minds.

“July 4th or 3rd, Nate Diaz vs Jake Paul co-main event (of International Fight Week), that’s the news, that’s what it is because Jake can do it,” Schaub claimed in a video on his YouTube channel.

Jake Paul is supposedly set to make his MMA debut under the PFL banner in 2025, according to PFL boss, Donn Davis.

Despite that, Nate Diaz likely won’t fight in the PFL as he still has a solid relationship with the UFC.

“Nate’s not going to fight in the PFL… Nate is a UFC guy. He’s still in cahoots with the UFC, he was backstage throwing water bottles. Nate isn’t going to diminish his product and fight in the PFL,” Schaub said.

Diaz posted a tweet on X (formerly Twitter) recently, showing that he is definitely interested in a rematch of their 2023 boxing match, which ‘The Problem Child’ won via unanimous decision.

Jake Paul’s relationship with Dana White could be a problem

Although Schaub believes he has cracked the UFC’s code, there is a big stumbling block in place that could mean he is completely wrong.

White and Paul don’t have a very strong relationship, at all. The two have gone back and forth with each other in interviews for years, and the 27-year-old has made some pretty damning claims about the UFC boss.

There’s no saying that their relationship couldn’t be put aside for a huge fight in the UFC, and following Paul’s recent huge fight against Mike Tyson, White could want a piece of the pie.
