Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier seemingly put their differences aside but the UFC heavyweight champion has continued to troll his former foe.
Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier‘s names will forever be linked, as they fought each other twice in one of the biggest rivalries in the sport’s history.
Their feud was extremely bitter and during media day for their scheduled fight at UFC 178, they broke out into a huge brawl which heightened their hatred for each other. That, though, was only the beginning of several years of torment.

Jon Jones shows off new painting of Daniel Cormier in his home
It seemed as though the two UFC greats had put the majority of their differences aside so that they could both continue their work with the promotion.
Of course, ‘Bones’ is still active and is reigning over the heavyweight division, making it relatively awkward for Cormier who has become one of the UFC’s regular commentators.
Jones has attempted to squash the beef several times since DC’s retirement as a fighter, and a phone call during a fighter meeting showed that Cormier is the one who is still holding onto the angst.
However, the UFC heavyweight champion has gone back to his old trolling ways recently, as he has shown off a new painting of Cormier in his home.
The painting shows Cormier crying following their fight at UFC 214, which at the time Jones was awarded the win, but it was eventually overturned to a no-contest after he failed a drug test.
“That is hilarious! All fun and games guys, that’s not really going up there, but that would be funny,” Jones said in the video whilst showing off the painting of an emotional Cormier.
In the video, Jones captioned it, ‘La Cry De La Pus’, further trolling his former rival.

Joe Rogan comments on a possible title unification fight between Jones and Aspinall
This isn’t the first time Jones has got back to his trolling ways as of late, as he has continuously gone back and forth with fans regarding a potential title unification fight against Tom Aspinall.
‘Bones’ has continued to troll fans by stating that he isn’t interested in fighting the interim champion, however, some fans and experts believe he is playing the game and is trolling Aspinall.
Following his recent win, the heavyweight champ stated that he requires ‘F*ck you money’ to stick around and fight Aspinall, with negotiations seemingly now in place for that fight.
UFC icon, Joe Rogan, has recently expressed his excitement for that fight, admitting that he has one question about Aspinall.
“I wanna know (what would happen). Here’s the question with Aspinall. What happens to Aspinall in the second round?” he asked in a recent episode of his podcast.
Aspinall currently has the shortest average fight time in the promotion with all nine of his fights under the UFC banner ending in the first round, making fans extremely excited for that unification bout.
