Rico Verhoeven brutally drops Eddie Hall with a leg kick
On Saturday night, Rico Verhoeven successfully defended his title against Levi Rigters at Glory: Collision 7.
In a battle for the ages, the legend hit the canvas after taking a thunderous right hand, before rising like a phoenix from the ashes to drop his rival en route to winning on points.
During his preparation for the bout, Verhoeven welcomed Eddie Hall into his training camp, to show the strongman what he puts himself through to stay on the throne.
The pair did everything together, eating chicken and rice for breakfast, ahead of two intense training sessions, culminating in the combat sports icon giving the Brit a leg kick.

Unsurprisingly, while Hall is an extremely intimidating individual, he couldn’t stand up to the 35-year-old’s power, crumbling towards the canvas.
In an exclusive interview with Bloody Elbow, Verhoeven, laughed: “Eddie is such a nice guy. He was in the Netherlands for something else, and he approached me weeks before, and said, ‘Yo, I’m coming to the Netherlands, and I was thinking, can I run with you for a day in the life’? I said, ‘Of course, let’s do it’. Normally, we don’t, but we make some exceptions, and for Eddie, we made one.
“He ran with me the whole day; he started with me at 7 in the morning, with an ice bath. He came with me to the gym and ate what I ate and trained how I trained.”
Rico Verhoeven gives a huge update on Francis Ngannou clash

In the aftermath of his victory, there was only one thing the post-fight interviewer wanted to ask him about.
And the striking phenom happily answered, giving an update on how far away he is from going head-to-head with ‘The Predator’.
