‘Korean Superboy’ calls out Bryce Mitchell with flat-earth jab after both fighters earn sensational wins at UFC 310

UFC 310 was a rip-roaring success, with a host of fan-favorite fighters earning sensational wins under the bright lights of Las Vegas.

One of those big winners was promotional veteran ‘The Korean Superboy’ Doo Ho Choi, who has since taken to social media to share one of the best post-fight callouts in recent memory.

‘Korean Superboy’ Doo Ho Choi calls out fellow UFC 310 victor Bryce Mitchell

The flashy South Korean featherweight is now on a two-fight winning streak, having followed up his brutal KO of Bill Algeo with a sensational knockout over Nate Landwehr at UFC 310 this past weekend.

“I feel very amazing, very happy, in the old generation of the featherweight division I was ranked #11 but in this new generation, I am happy to show that I am on a new level and have what it takes to survive here,” he told Joe Rogan in the octagon.

“My next opponent, I am so ready to get Bryce Mitchell – I want a great performance against Bryce Mitchell in the octagon and I believe if I fight with Mitchell, I’ll ranked in the new generation of featherweights.”

‘Thug Nasty’ would fight (and claim victory) less than 30 minutes later, earning himself a fantastic third-round knockout over Kron Gracie with some truly vicious hell-bows.

Whilst Mitchell hasn’t responded to Choi’s callout, ‘The Korean Superboy’ has continued to tease a showdown with ‘Thug Nasty’ – even getting political with his social media antics.

“April? May?” he suggested in an Instagram post, tagging the UFC matchmakers alongside a picture of our home planet; goading Mitchell, who is famously a flat-Earther.

“I believe that Bryce Mitchell is a very good fighter, and if me and Bryce go into the octagon, I know that will be a banger for the fans,” Choi continued at the post-fight press conference.

“The fight with Bryce Mitchell could be anytime [the UFC wants].”

Doo Ho Choi talks Dan ‘50K’ Ige and possible UFC Fight Night: South Korea

Should Mitchell continue to ignore Choi’s callout, there was one other name mentioned to ‘The Korean Superboy’ as a potential next opponent – Dan ‘50K’ Ige.

“I’m actually a very big fan of Dan Ige, I know he fought with The Korean Zombie, I watched that fight live and I watched every single Dan Ige fight live… I’m a big fan, I love his striking.

“It would be a really big honor to fight Dan Ige but for now, I want to focus on Bryce, instead of Dan Ige.”

Choi would also request that the UFC add his home nation to their events schedule in 2025, with the promotion’s South Korean card taking pace all the way back in 2019.

“So there are a lot of very heavy UFC fans out there in South Korea… They all laugh, cry, become angry about all these UFC fights and they watch it live every week – I really hope that one day, the UFC comes over to Seoul or Busan or anywhere in South Korea and hold an event there.”

The UFC has only held two events in South Korea before; Frankie Edgar vs Chan Sung Jung in 2019, and Benson Henderson vs Jorge Masvidal in 2015.

“I hope the UFC knows that there are a lot of South Korean fans who are waiting for an event to happen in Korea.”
