Furious UFC fans roast ‘Kron Disgracie’ after ‘incredibly disappointing’ performance on the final PPV of 2024

If you thought there was backlash to Bryce Mitchell vs Kron Gracie being on the main card before UFC 310, there’s certainly more now following their rather strange contest.

The Brazilian submission specialist put on arguably one of the worst performances of the entire year; with Kron Gracie’s social media today being swamped by furious UFC fans calling for him to be cut by the promotion.

Bryce Mitchell reveals how close Gracie’s arm-bar was during UFC 310

Just six significant strikes, 0 successful takedowns landed, and a whopping two seconds of control time before being knocked out – Kron Gracie’s performance at UFC 310 was laughably poor.

In fact, the only moment of danger for Bryce ‘Thug Nasty’ Mitchell was when he willingly gave up his limb in an attempted arm-bar, a submission that admittedly got a little too close for comfort.

“If I’d have postured [up] man, he’d have broken my arm,” Mitchell explained to TNT Sports after earning the brutal knockout win.

“I’ve trained with some of the best, if not the best, arm-bar specialists in the world and it just took every bit of knowledge, patience and wisdom [to get out] … About a minute before he had me in it, I knew I was in trouble. So, leading up to all those sequences, I was actually trying not to give up my back.

“I felt the option was ‘Give up the back or let him go for the arm.’ My instincts told me ‘Do not give this man take your back or he’ll break your neck’ and my instincts let him have my arm, then they did everything to keep my arm safe – but it was really, really close.”

Fans let Kron ‘Disgracie’ know their feelings after knockout loss at UFC 310

Given the nature of Gracie’s performance, in addition to the controversy around the main card placement of his fight with Mitchell, it’s no surprise that UFC fans are furious with the Brazilian.

Even just a quick scroll through the comments section of his latest Instagram post can be a tough read, with one fan calling Kron a ‘Disgracie’ whilst another adding “Your performance was incredibly disappointing. The comments don’t lie.”

“I don’t like hating on fighters but Jesus christ. I’m so glad you got knocked out.”

“So entertaining watching u get knocked out. Nice guard pulling.”

“You have the worst fighting style for UFC.”

“Bro, it was amazing when you jump guard then close guard laid on your back like a white belt and got punched. That was awesome, great strategy clown.”

“The classic Gracie BJJ style is so over. Pulling guard like that doesn’t work anymore. The average MMA grappler simply has too much wrestling skill.”

The backlash continues across almost every single social media platform out there, with X (Twitter) being particularly malicious following UFC 310.

Following the knockout win over Gracie at UFC 310, Bryce Mitchell would not only apologize to Joe Rogan over his previous comments, but would be called out for a fantastic featherweight clash against ‘The Korean Superboy’.
