Chase Hooper calls out Jim Miller after big victory at UFC 310

In front of a raucous crowd at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, Chase Hooper produced a sublime performance to defeat Clay Guida.

After showcasing his ever-improving striking, the gifted grappler remembered what got him to the dance, locking in a sweet submission, to defeat a man 17 years his senior.

In the aftermath of the contest, Hooper’s focus switched to potential opponents he may share the cage with next.

And at the post-fight press conference, a member of the media suggested Jim Miller, which appeared to whet the 25-year-old’s appetite.

Hooper replied: “I don’t see why not. I felt the same way about Clay Guida; he’s an older guy for sure, but he’s still doing the d**n thing. He’s still in here going against these young guys, and he’s doing well.

“Jim’s still subbing guys. That would be a good fight. If it wasn’t on such a stacked card like this, I felt like me and Clay could’ve been on the main card on a lot of events.

“That would be a fun one. Why not?”

Alexandre Pantoja reacts to Demetrious Johnson turning down his challenge for a UFC superfight… ‘That’s crazy’

Hooper wasn’t the only person to call for his next opponent at UFC 310, with Alexandre Pantoja setting his sights on a combat sports icon.

In the main event, the Brazilian produced a magnificent performance, en route to submitting Kai Asakura.

And following the fight, he called out Demetrious Johnson, who’s since turned down any possibility of the contest happening.

This has upset Pantoja, who’s not held back from voicing his opinion.
