MMA fans believe a future star was on show in the opening bout of UFC 310.
A heavyweight clash between Kennedy Nzechukwu and Łukasz Brzeski kicked off the final UFC pay-per-view card of 2024, which took place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
‘African Savage’ closed the show with just nine seconds left on the clock in the first round.
The finish was so brutal that people have started talking about him as a potential contender.

Kennedy Nzechukwu continues to impress at heavyweight
Kennedy Nzechukwu looked good at light heavyweight without posing a threat to elite fighters.
Since moving to heavyweight, the 6ft 5in knockout artist seems a much more dangerous prospect.
Fan favorite Charles Bennett was stopped inside one round by Nzechukwu at UFC 308 in October.
At UFC 310, he made it look easy as he cracked Łukasz Brzeski with a picture-perfect right hook.
‘The Bull’, who has lost five of his six fights since joining Dana White‘s promotion, dropped to the floor.
Nzechukwu hit him with three huge ground strikes before the referee stepped in to wave things off.
Excited UFC fans quickly took to social media to talk up the 32-year-old as a future star.
One fan said: “Kennedy Nzechukwu looks really good a heavyweight!”
Another raved: “THAT WAS A CRAZY FRIGGIN KO.”
A third person added: “This dude is legit!”
Someone else commented: “This guy is the future.”
Kennedy Nzechukwu reveals doctor prompted move up in weight
Joe Rogan wanted to focus on Kennedy Nzechukwu’s heavyweight move post-fight at UFC 310.
The popular commentator probed Nzechukwu on how he feels now that he doesn’t cut weight.
It prompted the newest heavyweight contender to reveal what triggered his divisional change.
“The doctor said [cutting to light heavyweight] was compromising my health and would be bad in the long run. That’s what the decision [to move up a division] was based upon,” Nzechukwu said.
“Now my liver is not damaged no more. I’ve healed a lot and I’ve been dialling in a lot on my striking.
“It’s just progress from here. I just wanna grow from here. I just wanna stay busy next year.”
