Khamzat Chimaev sends vicious warning to ‘skinny kid’ Ian Machado Garry following his recent comments

This coming Saturday, Ian Machado Garry takes on fellow undefeated phenom Shavkat Rakhmonov in a huge co-main event at UFC 310 and his pre-fight words have ruffled the feathers of Khamzat Chimaev.

Unfortunately for Shavkat Rakhmonov, his original UFC 310 main event fight against welterweight champion Belal Muhammad was canceled after ‘Remember The Name’ withdrew due to a broken toe.

Instead of removing him from the card completely, the promotion rebooked ‘The Nomad’ against fellow undefeated welterweight contender, Ian Machado Garry.

Ian Machado Garry outlines his plan for his next few fights

The anticipation has been building between ‘The Future’ and Rakhmonov as the two previously trained against each other at Kill Cliff before the Irishman ventured out elsewhere.

Garry claimed that the sparring between them was beneficial for both and there was nothing to take from it, however, Rakhmonov recently claimed that he submitted Garry several times.

With this fight standing as a number one contender fight in the welterweight division, the 27-year-old Irishman outlined his plan for his next few fights, which has ruffled a few feathers.

“I’m a young kid who dreamt of being here, who wanted to see my face on billboards, who wanted to put on shows against the scariest people in the world. I’ve said to you before, how my ideal scenario is I fight, I beat Shavkat and win the title,” Garry told Ariel Helwani.

“Then I go up to middleweight and then fight Khamzat (Chimaev). I’ll be able to win that belt too. I’m not afraid of any man,” Garry continued.

However, Garry’s pre-fight comments have ruffled the feathers of Khamzat Chimaev who is hopeful of fighting for the middleweight title in his next outing.

Earlier this week, Chimaev hinted online that a fight against Dricus Du Plessis is on and could take place in America after he posted an image of Donald Trump.

‘Borz’ has always been considered as a potential double champion as he first began his run at welterweight but has now taken his talents to 185lbs.

“You’re too skinny kid, don’t go near the Wolf’s teeth, you’ll end up headless,” Chimaev responded to Garry after stating his recent plan.

After traveling around the world to train at different gyms, ‘The Future’ seems to have found a home at Chute Box in Brazil, and earlier this week, he announced that former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira will be in his corner for UFC 310.

Before Garry vs Chimaev can come to fruition, Garry must overcome the feat of Rakhmonov and then win the welterweight title from Muhammad and similarly Chimaev must dethrone Du Plessis.
