‘I’ll accept your apology’… Michael Bisping fires back after former UFC champion accuses him of ‘crying’ about famous KO losses

Michael Bisping has hit back at Jamahal Hill on social media.

The former light heavyweight champion has been critical of referee Herb Dean, who he believes failed to properly separate him from Alex Pereira after an accidental low blow landed at UFC 300 in April.

‘Poatan’ pressed Hill against the cage and knocked him out cold seconds later.

During a recent episode of his ‘Believe You Me’ podcast, Michael Bisping used the words ‘sore loser’ while describing Hill’s reaction to suffering a defeat in the biggest fight of his career.

Michael Bisping and Jamhal Hill in social media row

Jamahal Hill got wind of Michael Bisping’s comments before sending him a message on X – formerly known as Twitter – on Friday evening.

The 33-year-old, who will face Jiri Prochazka in the UFC 311 co-main event on January 18, accused Bisping of hypocrisy.

Hill says the UFC Hall of Famer has consistently complained about his famous knockout defeats against Dan Henderson and Vitor Belfort, who both used TRT (Testosterone Replacement Therapy) during their combat sports careers.

He tweeted: “@bisping calling me a “sore loser” and talking about “as men” on losing is the craziest s*** to me ever!!!

“Bro you been crying and salty about Dan Henderson for 20 years and Vitor Belfort for 15 years!!! You would think spending half your career losing you would know how too!!”

Bisping soon hit back at ‘Sweet Dreams’. The former middleweight champion believes Hill has read his comments without context and jumped to the incorrect conclusion that he was being disrespectful.

‘The Count’ insists he was coming from a positive place with his comments.

“Did you watch what I said? Or did you read some s***ty headline? If it’s a headline I’ll accept your apology:),” Bisping replied.

“I said you were a bit of a sore loser because you’re a true competitor and then went on to explain how if that energy is channeled correctly it can be truly beneficial to a fighters mindset.

“I was being nice, not talking s***. Didn’t have you down as the easily offended type. All the best with your camp.”

Hill is yet to respond to Bisping insisting he got the wrong end of the stick.

Michael Bisping reaches out to loser of $1million PFL fight

Around the same time he was bickering with Jamahal Hill, Michael Bisping was using his social media platform to check on fellow Englishman Brendan Loughnane.

The man infamously rejected by Dana White in 2019, had another chance to prove how wrong the UFC boss was as he looked to become a two-time world champion on Friday night.

Loughnane was left covered in blood and bruises after taking a five-round beating from 18-0 Dagestani star Timur Khizriev in PFL’s $1million featherweight tournament final.

After hearing about the result, Bisping tweeted: “Yeah, I just read a write-up and had a text chat with him. Even though it wasn’t his night, he’s got a lot to be proud of. Most people who embark on an MMA career don’t achieve anything, if we’re honest.

“Let alone become a champ of a major organization, winning life-changing money. I’m proud to call him a friend. And as a Brit, I’m proud of how he repped our country. Big respect, @BrendanMMA.”
