Kai Asakura explains why he thinks ‘It’s good business for the UFC’ if he beats Alexandre Pantoja

Kai Akasura is convinced it would be better for the flyweight division if he were to relieve Alexandre Pantoja of his crown at UFC 310.

The pair of sporting titans are set to go head-to-head next Saturday inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Kai Asakura thinks he’s more marketable than Alexandre Pantoja

On December 7, Rizin legend, Kai Asakura, will attempt to capture UFC gold in his very first fight in the promotion, when he challenges Alexandre Pantoja.

However, the task at hand will be anything but easy, as the Brazilian has proved his skills in the world’s premier organization beyond doubt.

Regardless, Asakura is confident he has the minerals to get the job done, as well as claiming it would actually be beneficial for the company for him to become the poster boy of the 125-pound division.

The talented striker believes he has the perfect style to capture the imagination of the public.

Asakura told MMA Junkie: “Let’s be honest: It’s good business for the UFC if I win. I’m here to make it exciting, for people to have interest in the flyweight division and have a whole bunch of new matchups ready to have on future shows.

“I hope one day Dana White will turn to the audience and say this kid is a special KO artist, a KO machine.”

Alexandre Pantoja has a secret weapon to beat Kai Asakura

While the challenger is going into the fight with a spring in his step, Pantoja doesn’t intend on relinquishing his belt any time soon.

The talented grappler believes his rival is in for a rude awakening when they meet in the fight capital of the world.

And that’s partially because he has a very reliable insight into what it’s like to go toe-to-toe with Asakura.
