UFC fans are reminding Michael Chandler about his record in fights with Charles Oliveira.
‘Iron Mike’ was knocked out cold inside two rounds when they squared off the lightweight title at UFC 262 in May 2021.
The former three-time Bellator champion recently had a chance at revenge when he rematched Oliveira at UFC 309 on November 16.
Once again, he lost to ‘Do Bronx’, who dominated him for the first four rounds before surviving a late scare to pick up a unanimous decision victory at New York’s Madison Square Garden.

Michael Chandler still thinks he’s better than Charles Oliveira
Michael Chandler recently reflected on his performance at UFC 309, which he was highly critical of during an appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show.
The 38-year-old gave himself an extremely low rating for his performance before sharing another stat that left fans confused.
“I mean, I am not happy with my performance,” Chandler said. “I would give myself a two out of 10. I cannot overstate how horrible of a performance this was or set of circumstances it was after that first round, compared to what my vision was for what I am capable of.
“I believe I beat Charles Oliveira nine times out of 10. Obviously, I’ve lost to him twice now. Two out of two. I have a 100 percent loss rate to Charles Oliveira.
“So, I understand why people might tsk at that, roll their eyes at that. But I just am so unhappy with the performance.”
Of course, still giving yourself a nine out of 10 chance of beating someone you’ve lost to twice is ridiculous and fans let him know that in the comment section.
One said: “You’re 0-2.”
Another added: “He beats him 9/10 times but he’s already 0/2 out of 10.”
A third fan joked: “Bud you lost 2 times out of 2 The math ain’t mathing.”
Someone else commented: “Delusional.”

Michael Chandler breaks silence on controversial UFC 309 moment
As Michael Chandler tried to complete an incredible come-from-behind knockout victory in the UFC 309 co-main event, a few of his punches appeared to land on the back of Charles Oliveira’s head.
UFC commentators Joe Rogan, Daniel Cormier, and Jon Anik immediately flagged the foul, but referee Keith Peterson allowed the fight to continue.
Oliveira called out Chandler for cheating during his post-fight press conference, but the man himself is confident that most of his shots were perfectly legal.
Chandler added: “The unified rules of Mixed Martial Arts say that there is a line drawn from the crown of the head down to the back of the head, one-inch variance on either side. So, you’re talking about a two-inch area on the back of someone’s head that is considered the back of the head.
“If you watch 90 percent of the shots, at least, most of them, almost all of them, my fist was catching the ear. If you’re catching the ear, that’s not the back of the head. Actually, what you and I would call the back of the head is not the actual definition of what it is.
“A referee who was within two feet away never said one thing about it. Then you’ve got commentators who were 35 feet away saying it’s the back of the head and you’ve got other people saying it was back of the head.
“If a referee was saying ‘watch the back of the head,’ or ‘that is the back of the head’ then I’d understand.”
