Over his MMA career, it has become no secret that Darren Till is one of the most outspoken figures in the sport and he has called out several big names over his time.
Darren Till was once considered as one of the brightest prospects in the UFC and in 2018, he took one step closer to becoming that when he fought for the welterweight title.
Unfortunately for the Brit, he was dominated by Tyron Woodley and his MMA career subsequently went downhill from there after he was plagued with several injuries.

Darren Till calls out Gary Neville for a cage fight as he explains their ‘Twitter beef’
The latest name to have been called by ‘The Gorilla’ is former professional soccer player, Gary Neville. The former soccer player made 400 appearances for one of the biggest clubs in the world, Manchester United, whilst making 85 appearances for his national team.
When Till was asked in an interview who he would like to fight from the soccer world, the Liverpudlian picked Manchester legend, Neville. Liverpool FC and Manchester United are one of the biggest rivalries in world football.
“Gary Neville because me and him have had Twitter beef. He doesn’t like me. Got a little bit of beef with Gary. I don’t hate the guy, but yeah, it’d probably be Gary Neville or Cristiano Ronaldo, because he seems like a big, tough fellow, Cristiano.
“I’d like to see his speed and power. Seems like a very explosive man. He’s obviously ripped to the gills, isn’t he? You know, he doesn’t drink Coca-Cola or anything like that. I need to take a leaf out of his book,” Till continued.
Since moving to the Saudi side, Al-Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo has been in attendance for some huge combat sports events, ranging from boxing events to PFL MMA events.

Darren Till set to take on Tommy Fury in Misfits Boxing
Despite Till’s bizarre callout of Neville, he is in fact scheduled to finally make his second appearance in the boxing ring after a wild debut earlier this year against Mohammed Mutie.
The 31-year-old is scheduled to take on former opponent of Jake Paul and the younger brother of Tyson Fury, Tommy Fury.
The fight was announced earlier this month and it will take place on January 18 at the Co-op Arena in Manchester, England. Surprisingly, the fight will take place at heavyweight, despite the majority of Till’s MMA career being competed at welterweight, 170lbs.
The two took part in a press conference recently after the fight was announced, and a brawl was ignited on the stage after Tommy’s father, John Fury, threw an open bottle of water at Till.
