Jake Paul called out after ‘useless Irish boxer’ takes stray during rant at Dana White

Following his boxing fight against Mike Tyson this past Friday, Jake Paul took a shot at UFC CEO Dana White after his comments regarding the controversial boxing event.

The internet sensation turned professional boxer, Jake Paul, took part in what will go down as one of the biggest combat sports events ever this past Friday, beating Mike Tyson via decision.

In a recent press release, Netflix announced that over 60 million households tuned in globally to the event, making it one of the most successful combat sports events of all time.

Jake Paul slams UFC CEO Dana White for his comments following the fight

Although the two events didn’t compete against each other on the same day, UFC 309 took place just a day after ‘The Problem Child’s’ monumental boxing event.

Reacting to Paul’s performance against Tyson, the UFC CEO, Dana White said at the UFC 309 post-fight press conference: “Mike Tyson was right, and I was wrong… I told him, ‘Mike, you’re basically 60 years old’, and he’s like, ‘You honestly think this kid is gonna do anything to me?’

“You saw him, he tripped when he was walking out to the ring, he had a hard time walking upstairs, he had a knee brace on and Jake Paul couldn’t do anything to him. He made a tonne of money… Mike Tyson is the A+++ side of that thing,” White added.

White and Paul have consistently feuded online regarding the 27-year-old’s boxing career and ‘The Problem Child’ once again hit back at White for his comments about his fight against Tyson.

“Dana White has been a boxing promoter his whole career. All these nut riders need to do their research. His TV show failed. Couldn’t sell 4K tickets in Dublin with that useless Irish boxer he’s promoting. And he is not fighter’s first.

“He’s Dana first. Builds you up and tears you down. Now Conor McGregor is a hostage. Free Conor,” Paul continued in a tweet on X.

Callum Walsh calls out Jake Paul following ‘useless Irish boxer’ jibe

The ‘useless Irish boxer’ who caught a stray during Paul’s rant about White, is Callum Walsh. The UFC boss has been managing and promoting Walsh since the early days of his boxing career.

The undefeated Irishman recently fought at the 3Arena in Dublin and the fight was aired live on UFC Fight Pass, promoted and attended by White.

Defending himself against Paul’s comments, the 23-year-old responded with a post on X (formerly Twitter), calling ‘The Problem Child’ out for a fight.

“The ‘useless Irish boxer’ has won more than you could ever imagine, over 140 amateur fights and now 12-0 as a pro unlike you 11-1, fighting old retired men and the one boxer the same age you lost to. You know where I am,” Walsh fired back.

Although ‘King’ Walsh is hopeful that he could potentially be Paul’s next handpicked opponent, the Irishman fights at 154lbs, as opposed to Paul who tends to fight at around 200lbs.

The 27-year-old is audaciously hopeful of securing a cruiserweight title fight against boxing champion, Canelo Alvarez next.
