The time for talking has finally come to an end as Jake Paul and Mike Tyson finally do battle in Texas.
The social media star has been antagonizing his rival ahead of one of the biggest boxing matches in recent memory. And things finally got physical in their final face-off yesterday as ‘Iron Mike’ slapped his rival after he had his toe stood on in a cheeky moment.
There is a mix of controversy and excitement surrounding Paul vs Tyson as fans and experts fear that the 58-year-old heavyweight legend is too old to compete at a high level. But coupled with the fact that the fight is free on Netflix, there is also likely to be a record crowd watching.
- Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson: How to watch, live stream, start time, full card and rules
If the spectacle of the main event isn’t your fancy, there is still some top level boxing on the card. The co-main event sees Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano in a rematch two years in the making after the Irishwoman won their initial meeeting at Madison Square Garden.
The undercard features a mix of traditional boxing prospects such as Shadasia Green and Bruce Carrington and influencers. Neeraj Goyat of India makes his first outing under the Most Valuable Promotions banner against Brazilian superstar Whindersson Nunes in the main card opener.
We will have all of the action live here on Bloody Elbow.
Mike Tyson refuses to rule out retirement
He even calls for maybe a fight with Jake’s brother Logan, who tells him “I’d kill you”.

A damp squip in the end, 79-71 on two cards and 78-72 on the other. Not the best result
[Link]Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson – Round 8
We got the distance here as Jake Paul fails to capitalise on clear dominance to stop Tyson. He’ll win 6-2 probably.
[Link]Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson – Round 7
Jake Paul upped the pace a bit there, but he will probably need to take a risk to stop this. We head to the final round, hopefully of Tyson’s life.
[Link]Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson – Round 6
The sixth round comes and goes with little action. For all the nonsense talk of ‘no knockout clauses’, it’s Paul who seems to be taking it easy on an aging Tyson, who has landed just 16 punches all night.
[Link]Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson – Round 5
Jake is unloading now, Tyson looks completely spent, almost no offence. But still showing great heart and trying his best out there. A big uppercut from Tyson towards the end of the round is miles off. Paul up now 3-2 on my card.
[Link]Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson – Round 4
Within just a matter of minutes, this has become hard to watch as Paul pushes the pace on a clearly tired Tyson. Interestingly. Bruce Carrington told Bloody Elbow yesterday that Tyson tends to get a second wind after the fourth in sparring. Let’s see.
[Link]Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson – Round 3
Tyson has slowed considerably now and Paul is much more on the front foot. His big shot is an overhand right that he throws with his head straight down, he is still a little tentative about committing to that.
[Link]Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson – Round 2
Better defensively from Paul, using that footwork to steer clear of the biggest Tyson shots. The crowd did not like it at all as he fell into the clinch late on. We go to the third!
[Link]Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson – Round 1
Iron Mike attacks early, Paul attempting to evade. These two minute rounds could favor the older fighter, who can be more explosive and get back to his corner to recover. Paul takes some shots that seem bigger because of the crowd. That’s a Tyson round!
[Link]Here comes Jake Paul
He’s brought his brother Logan, and he’s also got the pigeon that Mike Tyson turned down as a gift during their face-to-face!
[Link]Anthem is done, it’s time for ‘Iron Mike’ to make the walk!
There is an unbelievable buzz here at Jerry World.
[Link]Main event time is almost upon us!
The arena is showing Mike Tyson’s highlights, from Trevor Berbick to Michael Spinks. Is Jake Paul about to have his name added to the list?

Team Serrano are not delighted with the performance, what did you think?
The crowd are not keen on that decision
Loud boos from the Texas crowd, we can’t actually hear what Taylor is saying from here!
[Link]Katie Taylor defeats Amanda Serrano by unanimous decision!
One point is all that does it in the end, 95-94 across the board. What a fight, what a duo, if they fought ten more times they would continue to sell out major arenas!
[Link]Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano go the distance!
Who will get the nod? I have it for Taylor, but on her promotion’s show, Serrano may get the edge. One thing is for sure, there will be no ‘robbery’, and these women should do this once more!
[Link]The crowd are going insane for this!
Round 10, Serrano empties the tank and it seems she has a bit more than Taylor. But she may needa stoppage! The crowd are going absolutely bonkers!
[Link]Katie Taylor has a point taken for headbutting
It’s been an issue throughout, and seems to be making Serrano’s cut worse. This fight is much more aggressive than their first, which was a hard-hitting technical masterclass from both women.
[Link]Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano 2 heads to round eight
What a fight we have on our hands. Every time Serrano goes for it, she is pushed back in an historic fire fight with Taylor!
[Link]Taylor cuts Serrano bad – doctor called in
This could be enough to stop the fight, Taylor lands a beautiful combination and the doctor is called in. They can’t stop the bleeding. But we continue, to rapturous applause
[Link]Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano 2 is delivering
Both women have thrown heat, with Taylor landing slightly less punches at a slightly lower clip. Serrano is putting her foot on the gas, which has allowed her to be caught at times. We head to the halfway point after five rounds.
[Link]Amanda Serrano rocks Katie Taylor with a big left hand!
The first round ends with Taylor against the ropes as Serrano pushes for the finish!

The atmosphere is off the charts at an almost packed out AT&T Stadium. What a moment for women’s boxing.

[Link]Mario Barrios and Abel Ramos ends in a split draw
Unheard of! Both men go down, and Barrios keeps his gold. What a fight.
[Link]Mario Barrios is now down!
This is turning into quite the fight as Abel Ramos lands a monster shot of his own and puts down the favorite!
[Link]Mike Tyson and Jake Paul are in the building
Huge reception for ‘Iron Mike’ as the crowd sees him on the big screen
[Link]That one certainly was!
No doubt about it as Barrios sends Ramos down in the second, on to his back with a huge right hand. Is our first stoppage coming?
[Link]Was it a knockdown?
Mario Barrios hits Abel Ramos and his glove arguably touches the canvas, but no knockdown scored.

We are sprinting through this card, this is our last bout before Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano square off in the co-main event.
[Link]Neeraj Goyat defeats Whindersson Nunes by UD
Four fights in now and not so much as close to a stoppage yet…
Whindersson Nunes and Neeraj Goyat go the distance
Impressive from the Brazilian, who survives based almost entirely on his size.
[Link]Neeraj Goyat and Whindersson Nunes is a better fight than expected
I thought the Indian superstar would steamroll through the vastly inexperienced Brazillian. But Nunes is walking forward and going for it at this stage. We head to the third.

Very controversial decision that one! One judge had it scored a draw.

Dominant across the scorecards as Carrington wins every one and drops Coolwell twice on route to a big win.
[Link]Dana Coolwell goes down again!
Bruce Carrington lands a big combination of punches in the corner and Coolwell smartly takes a knee.
