‘I thought it was a baby!’… Mike Tyson shares hilarious first encounter with social media sensation Hasbulla

Heavyweight boxing legend Mike Tyson shared a hilarious story about the first time he met social media superstar Hasbulla.

Mike Tyson and Hasbulla, who rose to social media fame in 2021, have very little in common. But, that didn’t stop the two combat sports personalities from breaking the internet when they first met.

While filming an episode of his Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson podcast, Tyson and Hasbulla came face-to-face for the first time. Tyson cradled Hasbulla like a child in a humorous moment for the podcast’s fans and viewers.

According to Tyson, he had no idea that Hasbulla was a fully grown adult.

In a recent interview with fellow boxing great Andre Ward, Tyson told the story of when he and Hasbulla first met in his podcast studio.

“I thought it was a baby,” Tyson admitted. “And then he started punching me…that’s how I am with children. I was hugging on this guy, and he’s like 26 years old.

“I knew nothing at all!”

Mike Tyson set to return to the boxing ring vs. Jake Paul

Tyson will make his return to professional boxing when he faces Jake Paul in a heavyweight bout on November 15th in Dallas. He returns to the ring almost 20 years after his last professional fight; a loss to Kevin McBride before retiring.

Hasbulla has accumulated a massive social media following in recent years with millions of fans around the world. He’s also an avid UFC fan, sitting cage side with UFC CEO Dana White and other top fighting personalities.

The 58-year-old Tyson’s boxing return has been criticized by many fans, pundits, and fellow fighters. Despite the noise, Tyson is supremely confident he can stop Paul in the ring, even with the massive age gap.

As for Hasbulla, he continues to fascinate fight fans around the world. After mistaking him for an infant, Tyson is a fan of the social media star.
