UFC Edmonton weigh-in results as former champions Moreno and Namajunas look to halt surging contenders in Canada

After the insanity that was UFC 308 in Abu Dhabi, the MMA promotion is set to return to the ‘Great White North’ this weekend for an above-average Fight Night card that features a multitude of household names.

With several former world champions and a string of Canadian stars set to compete, it should prove to be an entertaining night of action out in Edmonton – but did any of the athletes miss weight?

Fight Night: Moreno vs Albazi weigh-in results as the UFC returns to Edmonton

UFC Fight Night: Moreno vs Albazi takes place on Saturday, November 2 at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Canada – with the official weigh-ins having just wrapped up.

In what’s an increasingly rare occurrence, all 28 of the athletes who are set to compete this weekend successfully made their contractually agreed-upon weight limit.

Former champion Brandon Moreno and top contender Amir Albazi both weighed in at 125.5lbs; whilst the Mexican superstar did look much happier on the scales, ‘The Prince’ was keen to show off his shredded physique.

Moreno is coming off back-to-back losses to Alexandre Pantoja and Brandon Royval but is coming into this weekend’s main event healthy and happy following a turbulent time in his personal life.

We haven’t seen Albazi in the octagon since June 2023, with the Iraqi finisher having recently revealed that he suffered a major health scare that almost left him paralyzed.

The two fighters competing in the co-main event of the evening, Rose Namajunas and Erin Blanchfield, also appeared to make weight with relative ease; both fighters smiled on the scales ahead of what’s likely to be a No. 1 contender’s fight.

The weigh-in results from the UFC Fight Night Edmonton main card are as follows.

Eight bouts make up the prelims and early prelims: with all athletes successfully making weight here also – including all the Canadian athletes who are hoping to put on a show in front of their home crowd.
