Shara Bullet’s meticulous preparation is revealed following his one-of-a-kind knockout at UFC 308

Rising middleweight contender Shara Bullet produced one of the most breath-taking knockouts in combat sports history at UFC 308.

The 30-year-old collided with Armen Petrosyan on yesterday’s blockbuster card in Abu Dhabi, appearing several fights before the mouthwatering main-event between Ilia Topuria and Max Holloway.

In many ways, Petrosyan was set to provide Shara Magomedov with his toughest test yet, with his elite kickboxing prowess making him a dangerous opponent for any operator campaigning at 185 lbs.

And yet, following a competitive opening round, ‘Bullet’ was able to dispatch his seasoned opponent with a stunning double spinning back fist, extending his flawless MMA record to 15-0.

MMA fans were left stunned by Magomedov’s awe-inspiring second-round finish, with many claiming that they have never seen anything like it.

Aside from his formidable striking ability, though, the Russian has a compelling story to tell following a devastating eye injury he sustained back in 2016.

While admitting that previous opponents have targeted his eye, Magomedov attests that the inspiration he gets from UFC legend Michael Bisping, who suffered a similar injury in 2013, motivates him to battle through his handicap.

Sure enough, there were seemingly no limitations attached to his emphatic finish on Saturday, with the pulverizing puncher catapulting himself into the world-level scene at middleweight.

But interestingly, it has now emerged that Magomedov was indeed practicing his dynamic move at the open workouts earlier this week.

And this, in a sense, is strikingly reminiscent of Jorge Masvidal’s approach to his fight against Ben Askren in 2019, with ‘Gamebred’ rehearsing his flying knee in training before landing it in equally destructive fashion.

Shara Bullet calls out Israel Adesanya following his victory over Armen Petrosyan

Immediately after his remarkable stoppage over Petrosyan, Magomedov called out former UFC champion and MMA legend Israel Adesanya.

‘The Last Stylebender’ comes off a fourth-round submission defeat to middleweight king Dricus Du Plessis, which followed his shocking loss to underdog Sean Strickland last year.

And so, with the decorated fighter entering the twilight years of his illustrious career, now seems to be the perfect time for Magomedov to claim a notable scalp at 185 lbs.
