Luckily, Sonnen isn’t too concerned about those mocking his picks.
Laughing along with the joke, ‘The American Gangster’ has revealed the man he believes will emerge victorious in the UFC 308 co-main event.

In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, Sonnen said: “My official prediction for Khamzat Chimaev vs Robert Whittaker — and still undefeated — Khamzat Chimaev.
“There’s a lot of you that think he showed fatigue with Gilbert Burns and against Kamaru Usman. I think Chimaev is a real-conditioned machine myself. I think he’s one of those guys that guy can weaponize pace.
“Robert Whittaker has shown that he’s part of the 25-minute club. Size does matter, especially when you’re talking about fatigue.
“I think Whittaker is the bigger of the two, but we’re getting videos that are surfing around the internet that say Chimaev is the bigger of the two.
“It’s the rightful number one contender fight that should draw in rightfully so to the winner of Dricus Du Plessis and Sean Strickland.
“Chimaev vs Whittaker — I’m putting the curse on Khamzat Chimaev.”

While officially opting with Chimaev, Sonnen isn’t writing off Whittaker by any stretch of the imagination.
