Dana White’s ongoing feud with rival promotion, the PFL continues as he has hit out on the founder, Donn Davis following his recent comments.
The PFL recently staged their biggest event ever in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as their biggest star Francis Ngannou made his long-awaited promotional debut and return to MMA.
‘The Predator’ returned with an emphatic first-round knockout over the PFL heavyweight champion, Renan Ferreira.

Dana White slams Donn Davis in a rant about the PFL
Following the successful PFL event, founder Donn Davis claimed that the promotion was beating the UFC in some statistical categories. Prior to the ‘Battle of the Giants’ event, Davis claimed that it would outperform the UFC’s blockbuster UFC 306 at the Sphere.
“First of all, the PFL should keep the UFC out of their mouth. They can’t even deal with Power Slap. Power Slap destroys PFL. It’s weird that you ask those questions because I just happen to have some papers here,” Dana White stated at the Power Slap 9 post-fight press conference.
The UFC boss went on to list some statistics from social media and stated that he was least pleased with Davis claiming that he doesn’t watch MMA outside of his own promotion.
“I can keep going on for a f*cking month here. Then, if you want to get into what he said about the UFC, I have a laundry list here. But let me just start with this, UFC Vegas 84 at the Apex beat them. So listen, I understand and I love the stuff he said.
“He talks a lot but says nothing. I would hate to be one of that guys’ investors. You should probably take a vacation. You’re out of your f*cking mind, dude.
“He doesn’t beat Power Slap in revenue. He doesn’t beat Power Slap in ticket sales. He doesn’t beat Power Slap in sponsorship. He doesn’t beat Power Slap in anything, let alone UFC,” White continued.

Dana White claims he was going to cut Francis Ngannou from the UFC
Ngannou’s exit from the UFC was extremely controversial at the time as he did so whilst at the peak of his powers, reigning over the heavyweight division.
Since his exit, he and White have continued going back and forth with each other over the reasons why he didn’t sign a new deal with the UFC.
White claimed recently that he would’ve made more money in the UFC than he has since leaving, with the Jon Jones fight still being brought up to this day. Not only that, but White has now claimed that he was going to cut Ngannou from the UFC, but one of his coworkers ‘begged’ him not to.
“Francis is all about the money… I was going to cut Francis when he lost two in a row. I was going to cut him. Somebody here begged me not to do it. So it wouldn’t have mattered to me, one way or the other. There’s a much deeper story to this whole thing,” White finished.
