Dana White is absolutely furious that Khalil Rountree hasn’t moved up the UFC rankings after Alex Pereira fight
In recent times, Dana White has seen no issue with taking aim at the media members that dictate the UFC ranking system.
Most notably, the UFC President has raged over the fact that Jon Jones is ranked as the pound-for-pound number three behind Islam Makhachev and Alex Pereira.
But on this occasion, he’s livid over the state of the light heavyweight rankings, claiming that Khalil Rountree deserves better.
The American entered his title bout in eighth place and has remained in the same position following his losing effort, which has rendered White furious.
Sheesh: MMA legend thinks ‘special’ Alex Pereira has a very good shot of beating Tom Aspinall
In a video uploaded to his Instagram, the businessman said: “The morons strike again. Khalil Rountree fights that bada** fight against [Alex] Pereira, and the morons keep him at number eight.
“Literally this week, I have a meeting to try to fix the rankings and get all of these no-nothing, do-nothing motherf***ers out of it. So, hopefully, this week, I get this fixed. Have a great day, everybody.”
Conor McGregor says Alex Pereira can beat Jon Jones
With White furious at seemingly anyone who doesn’t think Jones is the greatest of all time, he’ll have likely have not taken kindly to Conor McGregor claiming Pereira could beat the UFC heavyweight champion.
As a fellow striker, the Irishman is deeply impressed by what he’s seen the former Glory kickboxing world champion do in the cage.
He even believes the Brazilian could become the world’s premier mixed martial arts organisation’s first three-weight world champion.
McGregor explained why he believes Pereira can give Jones a run for his money.
