The lightweight contender battered Rafa Garcia to score a technical knockout win in the second round of their clash at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
Dawson was overlooked when it came to handing out performance bonuses, but he probably should’ve received one for entertaining his post-fight antics alone.

Dawson dedicated his victory to his wife, Elle Dawson, a professional atomweight fighter with Invicta who was sitting in the audience cheering on her husband.
However, she probably wanted to be anywhere but there when the UFC star started telling the world about her breathtaking behind in now-viral footage from Dana White’s latest event.
“There’s one more person I have to thank,” Dawson said.
“My beautiful, beautiful wife. I’m telling you the biggest cheat code I have is having the most supportive wife that you could possibly have.
“How much she supports me is literally my favorite thing about her.
“Well, it’s my second favorite thing about her. My first favorite thing is she has a dump truck that you can bounce a quarter off of.”
Mrs. Dawson was beaming with joy during the first half of her husband’s speech, but she covered her face when he started telling Bisping about her behind.

By the time Dawson had made his way backstage to talk with assembled media members, his post-fight interview had already begun to spread like wildfire and his wife had gained hundreds of new social media followers.
Still, he had no regrets about anything he had to say after improving his professional MMA record to 22-2-1.
“I’ve always spoken well on the mic,” Dawson said.
“I’m actually hilarious, though.
“This mug didn’t pick a wife like mine because I’m charming. I’m funny AF!”
“She knows I love her so much. What I said in there was true.”
