With Dana White insulting anybody who doesn’t regard Jon Jones as the pound-for-pound number one, he might be somewhat frustrated with what Michael Bisping has had to say.
‘The Count’ believes another fighter has earned his spot at the top of the mythical list.

Michael Bisping picks Alex Pereira over Jon Jones as the UFC pound-for-pound number one
On Saturday evening, Alex Pereira defended his light heavyweight title against Khalil Rountree at UFC 307 inside the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.
‘Poatan’ destroyed his American adversary, smashing up the contender with his superior striking skills.
Pereira’s performance was so impressive that it caught the attention of Michael Bisping, who has come to the conclusion that the Brazilian deserves his seat atop the pound-for-pound throne.
In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, the former middleweight world champion, said: “Pereira is going through everybody. Three title defences in seven months and taking the world by storm. So, if you go through the top ten, it’s hard to deny Pereira’s the number one.”

The analyst continued: “He is very active; he is taking on the top competition. Yes sure, granted, maybe Magomed Ankalaev should’ve been in there on Saturday night, but he wasn’t, that’s not his fault, you can’t hold that against him. But the people he is beating, he’s doing it in sensational fashion and he’s finishing them. And, that’s partly what I want to see.
“To be pound-for-pound number one, you’ve got to be finishing people; you can’t be scraping by them with split decisions. You’ve got to be doing it in emphatic fashion. And I don’t think there’s anybody out there with the finishing ability of Alex Pereira; it’s frightening what he can do.”
He concluded: “I’m gonna give Pereira the top sport right now.”
While Dana White has previously claimed that anybody who doesn’t think Jon Jones is the pound-for-pound number one knows ‘nothing about fighting’, Bisping’s comments undeniably bring his statement into question, as having scaled the mountain, the Brit definitely knows a thing or two about combat.
Michael Bisping claims he chased a thief who stole his wife’s bag
On a recent trip to Paris, France, to commentate on the UFC, Bisping took an opportunity to enjoy some downtime with his wife.
In a dramatic turn of events, while they were sightseeing, the Englishman claims a thief attempted to steal his partner’s bag, and subsequently ran off.
Bisping then supposedly chased after the individual and stopped him from getting away.
The sporting great also explained what he did when he got his hands on the man.
