Despite suffering a nasty shoulder injury in the lead-up to UFC Paris, fan-favorite lightweight Renato ‘Money’ Moicano was able to get the TKO win over Benoit Saint-Denis in front of the Frenchman’s home crowd.
In his post-fight speech, Renato Moicano would call out two of the biggest stars in the division, and ‘Money’ knows exactly when and where he’d like to make his UFC return.

Renato Moicano calls for lightweight title eliminator against ‘easy money’ vet
Renato Moicano certainly enjoyed spoiling the Parisian party this past weekend as he earned a TKO victory via doctors’ stoppage over the ever-tough ‘God of War’, before calling out both Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett and Dan ‘The Hangman’ Hooker.
The Scouse superstar was the first to respond to the callout, writing “Let’s do this” on his Instagram page with the hashtag “Easy Money.”
There have already been calls for the pair to lead the next season of The Ultimate Fighter, which would undoubtedly be the most entertaining season in recent memory.
Yet it now appears as though it’s Dan Hooker who is Moicano’s primary target, with the two going back-and-forth online with a tease of a December fight being thrown out by the Brazilian.
“F*** France… They taxed me very high,” Moicano shared to X, with the City Kickboxing veteran quick to reply: “Wasn’t that your excuse for ducking me in Perth?”
“They didn’t offer the fight,” claimed ‘Money’, before suggesting that there could be a relatively easy solution for the congestion issue plaguing the top of the 155lb division.
“But easy problem to solve… Tile fight eliminator in Vegas December #ufc”
The December PPV, UFC 310, is scheduled for December 7 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and at the time of writing, has only three fights announced: Ciryl Gane vs Alexander Volkov, Movsar Evloev vs Aljamain Sterling, and Anthony Smith vs Dominick Reyes.
Champion Islam Makhachev is currently out with an injury and is expected to face Arman Tsarukyan in the New Year; according to Khabib Nurmagomedov, the team has just accepted the title fight offer from the UFC for January 2025.
Renato Moicano suffered a nasty injury three weeks before UFC Paris
Whilst a fight between Moicano and Hooker would be an absolute barnburner, there is a concern that the fan-favorite Brazilian might not be recovered by the time the December PPV rolls around.
This is because Moicano suffered a particularly nasty-looking shoulder injury during his training camp for Benoit Saint-Denis, with images posted to social media showing a broken collarbone.
Veteran reporter Kevin Iole would share an image of the X-ray online, with Moicano claiming that the injury occurred some three weeks before the UFC Paris main event.
“I hurt my shoulder 3 weeks ago… but I couldn’t pull out of a main event… thank you my team for helping me training like that to get me ready for the fight #ufcparis #att.”
