Merab Dvalishvili claims dodgy yogurt nearly caused loss to Sean O’Malley
In combat sports history, fans have heard fighters make an array of peculiar excuses for losing major bouts.
For example, Deontay Wilder once claimed his ring-walk suit was too heavy after he lost to Tyson Fury, while David Haye blamed a broken toe after he came up short against Wladimir Klitschko.
Of course, combat sports enthusiasts always hit back at these sorts of comments. But because he won, Dvalishvili has been able to express exactly what went wrong before his match-up with O’Malley without fear of backlash.
He recently went into detail about how a dodgy yogurt nearly ruined everything.
