Nick Diaz vs Vicente Luque supposedly rearranged for UFC 310

Earlier today, MMAmania reported that multiple sources have informed them that Nick Diaz will go head-to-head with Vicente Luque at UFC 310.

The last PPV event of the promotion’s 2024 calendar will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

The Stockton brawler last competed on September 25, 2021, in a brutal fight with MMA legend Robbie Lawler.

Despite showing flashes of his brilliant best, Diaz was ultimately outgunned by the more active fighter, eventually succumbing to a third-round TKO loss.

His last victory inside the cage was back in 2011, where he put on a magnificent display against B.J. Penn.

Luque has not fought himself since losing in horrifying fashion against Joaquin Buckley. But with his most recent win coming against Rafael Dos Anjos just last year, he’s certainly expected to have considerably less cage-rust than Diaz if the contest does indeed come to fruition.

Nick Diaz sends warning message ahead of his UFC return

While some believe that Diaz will never return to the peak of his powers, the 41-year-old is adamant that he’s going to come back with a bang.

The American has never been shy of expressing his views on his opponents, and he’s not about to start anytime soon.

In a recent rant, he vowed to get his revenge on every single fighter who’s been talking ‘s**t’ about him.
