Joe Rogan and his friends have gone viral for their live reaction to Dricus Du Plessis defeating Israel Adesanya at UFC 305.
The group of MMA enthusiasts seemed surprised and somewhat disappointed with ‘Stillknocks’ retaining his middleweight title.

Joe Rogan claims Dricus Du Plessis is an ‘animal’ during UFC 305
On Saturday night, in front of a raucous crowd at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia, Dricus Du Plessis claimed the greatest scalp of his career, overwhelming Israel Adesanya with his ferocious engine, to claim a fourth-round face crank.
The victory solidified the South African as the greatest 185-pound fighter on the planet, and gave his fans a memory that will last with them forever.
However, while the result filled his supporters with joy, it didn’t get the same reaction from Joe Rogan and his pals during the latest edition of the Fight Companion.
The popular podcaster was joined by former fighter Brendan Schaub and comedians Tony Hinchcliffe and Brian Simpson.

As the fight rolled on, Du Plessis began to take over, landing heavy shots on his opponent. In the fourth round, the King of the Middleweights connected with a solid punch, which prompted Rogan to release a trademark: “Oh”, followed by “dude, dude, dude, he hurt him.”
Deeply concerned for ‘The Last Stylebender”, Schaub asked: “What the f**k is going on?” To which the UFC commentator replied: “He hurt him, dude.”
Subsequently, the title-holder dragged his rival to the ground and went for the submission, which resulted in the ex-heavyweight contender muttering: “Oh s**t, he might have this.”
Realizing that the end was nigh, Hinchcliffe shrieked: “Oh no”, as the New Zealand-based fighter tapped out. The result prompted Rogan to place his hand on his head and spin around in his chair, while Hinchcliffe facepalmed.
After taking a moment to gather his thoughts, the host of the Joe Rogan Experience, conceded: “Dricus is a f***ing animal dude.” In agreement, Schaub exclaimed: “Tough motherf***er.”
The host concluded: “I was saying, those punches, even though he’s exhausted, you can’t be in those exchanges. You’re gonna get clipped. If you get clipped, you’re in real trouble. F**k, he got hit with those big right hands, man. He got rocked with those right hands.”
Israel Adesanya made history at UFC 305
While those watching on The Fight Companion were seemingly disappointed that Adesanya didn’t reclaim his belt, the Nigerian-born athlete was in good spirits in the aftermath.
With a spring in his step, he headed to the press conference to crack some jokes for not just the journalists in attendance, but the fans watching online.
Rather than being overwhelmed by negativity, Adesanya answered all the questions and even made a couple of very interesting points.
While UFC 305 ended in defeat for the 35-year-old, he revealed that he actually managed to make history on two counts.
