Dana White finally responds to Jake Paul’s bizarre callout of UFC champion Alex Pereira… ‘He’d kick his head to another planet’

Following Jake Paul’s recent boxing win over former UFC welterweight fighter, Mike Perry, the internet sensation turned boxer bizarrely called for a fight against current UFC light heavyweight champ, Alex Pereira.

Since his emergence in the professional boxing world in 2020, Jake Paul has been hand-picking his opponents, the majority of which have been either retired MMA fighters or MMA fighters nearing the end of their careers.

The singular time ‘The Problem Child’ has fought against a boxer with a reputable name and record, was when he fought Tommy Fury in February last year and lost a decision.

Dana White reacts to Jake Paul’s callout of Alex Pereira

The 28-year-old recently revealed that he is planning on entering the 2028 Olympics for boxing, to try and finally bring Gold back to the USA and his plan was surprisingly backed by Michael Bisping.

Despite that, that isn’t for another four years, and so he has some way to go in the boxing world before he can consider entering the Olympics. With that, following his win over Mike Perry last month, he called for a boxing fight against UFC 205lb champion, Alex Pereira.

‘The Problem Child’ got heavily criticized for calling out ‘Poatan’ as he likely knew the likelihood of that fight coming to fruition was extremely low. Despite that, he tried to defend himself by stating that the fight would be possible as they’d sell over ‘2 million PPVs’.

Not only that, but Paul also attempted to butter up Dana White, stating that he has a lot of respect for the UFC CEO, despite their ongoing feud.

The UFC boss, though, isn’t falling for anything Paul is trying to play and has given his response to him calling out Pereira.

“I wonder if the commission would even let that fight f****** happen. (Pereria) would kick his head to another planet. He calls people out for attention. Alex (Pereira) is a superstar right now, so Jake called him out and Jake gets press,” Dana White explained on the Full Send Podcast.

“Jake says that I tried to assassinate him and said (other things), it’s all lies, it’s not true,” he continued.

White was then asked if he thinks ‘Poatan’ is a bigger star in the world than Jake Paul is, to which he was pretty confident with his answer.

“Yes (of course), you don’t? You’re f****** nuts. Who do you think sells more PPVs? Alex, way more. So you’re saying you disagree he’s bigger than Jake Paul, he sells 400x the (amount Jake Paul does). The Jake Paul fight that just happened didn’t sell any PPVs. They don’t sell PPVs,” the UFC boss stated.

Jake Paul once again mocks Conor McGregor with a new post

This past Tuesday, White revealed that UFC star, Conor McGregor, won’t be returning to the Octagon before the end of the year, which resulted in McGregor disputing his comment online.

Since then, Paul has once again mocked McGregor for his lack of activity, and laughed at the Irishman for asking for a fight in December.

Since ‘The Problem Child’ began his career in boxing, he has clearly been hopeful of an eventual fight against the former UFC two-weight champion.

With the landscape of the sports entertainment world going the way it’s going, there is likely still potential that fight could get made somewhere down the line.
