Following an unfortunate month for the undefeated flyweight contender, Muhammad Mokaev, he has made an extremely bold and shocking claim about UFC contender, Amir Albazi.
Despite picking up a win over Manel Kape at UFC 304 on July 27, the UFC brass decided they were not going to re-sign undefeated 24-year-old, Muhammad Mokaev, even though he was likely the most deserving title contender.
Since then, Mokaev has hinted that he has signed a contract elsewhere, despite offering to fight in the UFC for free. Eagle-eyed fans seem to have deciphered from one of his posts, that he has signed with Bahrain promotion, Brave CF.

Muhammad Mokaev makes a scary allegation about Amir Albazi
With Mokaev now out of the UFC flyweight picture, the next likely contender is number three-ranked, Amir Albazi. ‘The Prince’ hasn’t fought since June last year when he was controversially awarded a split decision win against Kai Kara-France.
Albazi was scheduled to return this past February, but a neck injury ruled him out of his bout with Brandon Moreno, which then required surgery.
Ahead of his impending comeback to the Octagon, Mokaev has made a scary allegation about Albazi when they were in Las Vegas following Mokaev’s fight against Alex Perez.
A week prior to Mokaev’s fight against Perez, he and Kape had an altercation outside of the UFC Performance Institute, which resulted in Mokaev requiring stitches. The UFC tried to make the 24-year-old delay his fight and fight on another card, but he insisted he stayed on the March card.
A few days after the event, Mokaev and his team met with Kape and his team in a local Vegas establishment. Because of there being a lot of cameras around, Mokaev and his team decided to leave the area.

“We drove away. Albazi was standing around the corner. Albazi (is) number two ranked in my division. He acted unusual. He ran out of the car and got into a fighting stance. At that time he had a neck operation. I thought that if I beat him now, he will go to the police,” Mokaev began to explain in an interview with Adam Zubayraev.
“I got into a fighting stance too and he pointed a gun on me. Albazi stood next to Javid Basharat who fights in the UFC. I had my friend with me. My friend tried to flinch him. Albazi didn’t do anything. We drove away. He was still shouting at us, saying it’s better if we leave,” he continued.
‘The Prince’ Albazi is teammates with both Kape and Javid Basharat at Xtreme Couture in Vegas.
Albazi comments on the UFC not re-signing Mokaev
In a recent interview with MMAJunkie, the 30-year-old contender commented on the UFC’s decision to not re-sign ‘The Punisher’ stating that it ‘sucks’ because he’d liked to have fought him.
“I think it sucks that he never got to continue fighting in the UFC with his winning streak. I would have loved to fight him just to prove to people that I could take him on and that he wouldn’t be a problem for me.
“With (Mokaev), it’s not personal anymore. I solved it with him. He knows what’s up. So, for me, you want to fight, I’m ready to fight. If anyone in the weight class wants to fight, I’m ready to fight,” Albazi added.
