With Dana White absolutely adamant that Jon Jones is the greatest UFC fighter of all time, fans have been rendered confused by an old video that has come to light.
The clip features the President of the world’s premier mixed martial arts organization seemingly claiming that ‘Bones’ ought to have lost one of his major title fights.

Dana White says Dominick Reyes beat Jon Jones
On February 8, 2020, at UFC 247, Jon Jones controversially defended his UFC light heavyweight championship against Dominick Reyes.
Showcasing a remarkable array of kicks and unfathomable self-belief, ‘The Dominator’ cruised the first three rounds, landing at will against the legend.
As the fight rolled into the championship rounds, Jones pulled on all his experience to work his way back into the conest, taking the last two rounds.
However, the bulk of fans in attendance at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, USA, and indeed those watching around the world, felt they’d just witnessed the greatest upset in UFC history.

Alas, when the scores were read it was Jones who had his hand raised, causing uproar amongst the MMA community.
The result still serves as a stain on Jones’ record to this very day. Regardless, Dana White remains insistent that nobody comes close to touching the polarizing star in the pound-for-pound conversation.
However, his reaction at the time proves that the businessman believes that on that night in Texas, Reyes should’ve become the 205-pound champion of the world.
At the post-fight press conference, he said: “My kids are terrorizing me, ‘saying the fix is in and how can this happen, Dad? Reyes won that fight’. Going into the last round, I had Dominick Reyes 3-1.”
Dana White slams anyone who doesn’t view Jon Jones as the pound-for-pound number one
Whether it’s his unrivaled creativity or sensational resume, White refuses to accept that anyone is on the same level as Jones.
Over the years, the entrepreneur has sat cage-side and watched the athlete triumph over the likes of Alexander Gustafsson and Ciryl Gane, which has clearly stuck in his mind.
Therefore, to him, the discussion over who the greatest of all time is, is ‘undebatable’.
In a recent interview, he fumed at anyone who thinks otherwise, claiming they ‘know nothing about fighting’.
