Following his win over Michal Oleksiejczuk this past Saturday at UFC Abu Dhabi, Shara ‘Bullet’ Magomedov extended his UFC win streak to three in a row but has revealed it was the final fight on his contract.
Shara ‘Bullet’ Magomedov once again showcased his incredible arsenal of kicks this past weekend at UFC Abu Dhabi, picking up a unanimous decision win over the gritty Michal Oleksiejczuk.
With that, he extended his impressive win streak to three in a row, indicating that he is likely ready for a significant step up in caliber of opponent.

Shara ‘Bullet’ Magomedov reveals he is no longer under contract with the UFC
Following his win over the Polish middleweight, the 30-year-old called for a fight against UFC fan favorite, Nick Diaz, who was originally scheduled to be competing in his co-main event spot against Vicente Luque.
Despite that, the Russian striker has now revealed that he is no longer under contract with the UFC, with his fight in Abu Dhabi being the last of his deal.
Of course, the promotion is likely to re-sign ‘Bullet’, however, the promotion’s recent decision regarding letting 24-year-old flyweight prospect, Muhammad Mokaev go, has made Magomedov ‘nervous’, and he hopes his fate will be different from ‘The Punisher’s’.
“I’ve just had my last fight under the current contract, and now I am hoping to get a new one but after the Mokaev (case), I am kind of nervous,” Magomedov told Red Corner MMA.
In his last two fights, Magomedov has earned two performance bonuses, and both times he has had to take the fight on short notice, showing his value to the promotion.
Although he has admitted he is ‘nervous’ that he won’t get re-signed, he has faith in his management team.
“As a matter of fact, it’s true, my managers Ali Abdelaziz and Rizvan (Magomedov) they are top-notch managers so I trust them in all respects and I don’t worry at all,” the Russian middleweight admitted.

Fans unhappy with Shara Magomedov’s post-fight callout
Prior to his fight, Magomedov hinted at the idea of fighting Brazilian striker, Michel Pereira next. ‘Demolidor’ is currently ranked 13th in the 185lb division and is on an eight-fight win streak.
Having said that, the 30-year-old is scheduled to fight Anthony Hernandez on October 19 in a Fight Night main event, who is ranked just one position lower than him.
Instead of wasting his callout on a fighter who is already booked, the fanbase is in agreement that he has wasted his callout on a fighter who is unlikely to return to the UFC Octagon.
UFC CEO, Dana White, recently stated that he’s ‘not very confident’ Diaz will return to the Octagon before the end of the year. ‘Bullet’ has been called out by a top middleweight, though, and the fight could make a lot of sense if the promotion wants to push the Russian into the middleweight title picture.
Following his win, number six-ranked middleweight, Marvin Vettori demanded a fight against the 30-year-old, this coming December.
“Me and Shara in December @MickMaynard2 @danawhite,” the Italian stated.
