Jake Paul attempts to butter up ‘great’ Dana White as he continues to pursue a fight with UFC champion

Jake Paul has attempted to butter up UFC CEO Dana White as he continues to pursue a boxing fight against current UFC light heavyweight champion, Alex Pereira.

With Jake Paul continuing his method of fighting former MMA fighters in the boxing ring, following his recent win over former UFC fighter turned Bare Knuckle Boxer, Mike Perry, the internet sensation called out the UFC light heavyweight champion, Alex Pereira.

Following the callout, the MMA fanbase clowned ‘The Problem Child’ online for calling out a fighter that he likely knows he won’t be able to fight.

Jake Paul explains his callout of Alex Pereira and continues his pursuit

The reason the 27-year-old likely won’t ever get to fight ‘Poatan’, is because the UFC doesn’t allow their fighters to fight in other promotions while they’re under contract, and Conor McGregor will likely remain the anomaly.

One of the main reasons former heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou, left the promotion was because of the UFC’s refusal to allow him to take a fight in boxing.

Not only that but UFC CEO Dana White and Jake Paul don’t have a very good relationship, and the two have historically spoken bad about each other online, making it extremely unlikely that they’ll ever do business together.

Despite that, Paul has attempted to explain why he called out the Brazilian champion, questioning why the fight can’t happen.

“But (why is it not possible?). If we’re gonna sell 2 million pay-per-views, this is a business at the end of the day, the reason why Dana let McGregor (fight Floyd Mayweather is because of business),” Paul explained on the Full Send Podcast.

“If Pereira is selling 500k PPV buys and this has a chance to do 2-3 million, that’s basically six fights so, I see both sides of it but I’m down and at the end of the day, I’m gonna call this guy out because when I beat him they can’t say weight, they can’t say height, they can’t say old, they can’t say any of these things and so I want the toughest competition in the world,” he continued.

‘The Problem Child’ went on to state that he is still going to continue to pursue fights with professional boxers as he still wants to win a professional title.

Jake Paul surprisingly compliments Dana White in an attempt to butter him up

As well as constantly feuding with White, Paul has constantly called out ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor for a boxing fight, again, knowing that it can likely never happen.

“He’ll never fight me, he knows I would win… Losing to Jake Paul (would tarnish his career), that’s why Nate Diaz won’t do MMA against me, 100%,” Paul said.

White is undoubtedly one of the best promoters in the combat sports world, although there are parts of the fanbase that don’t agree with everything the promotion does.

Because of their rocky relationship online, the 27-year-old professional boxer has attempted to butter White up with a rare compliment, possibly in the hopes that it’ll make him reconsider his stance on allowing his fighters to fight outside of the UFC.

“I have a lot of respect for (Dana White). His RNC speech was amazing, we agree on so many things and I think he has a great side of him and I’m sure we’d be friends maybe in this life, maybe in a different life, I just want fighters to get paid more, that’s it,” the 27-year-old admitted.

Paul is still scheduled to controversially take on former undisputed heavyweight boxing champion, Mike Tyson, with the bout set to take place from the AT&T stadium in Texas on November 15.
