Brendan Schaub claims Tom Aspinall needs to ‘stick up for himself’ in order to secure his heavyweight unification fight with Jon Jones.
The towering Brit has solidified his place as the most terrifying man in the division, but he’s yet to have had the opportunity to face off with ‘Bones’ in the cage.

Brendan Schaub says Tom Aspinall is getting ‘bullied’
On Saturday night, at UFC 304, in front of 23,500 of his adoring fans at the Co-op Live in Manchester, UK, Tom Aspinall produced a remarkable performance, rendering Curtis Blaydes unconscious to defend his interim belt.
The tremendous finish righted the wrongs from their first encounter, in which the Brit injured his knee within the first 15 seconds, giving the American the victory.
Now, with the only blemish of his UFC career put to bed, Aspinall has his sights set on one man — Jon Jones.
However, the mixed martial artist many consider the GOAT, has insisted that he first fight Stipe Miocic, leaving Aspinall out in the cold.

Following his win at the weekend, Dana White confirmed the Englishman is likely going to be the backup fighter for the upcoming title bout, which has infuriated Brendan Schaub.
The former contender has given the interim King some advice on how to manoeuvre himself into a match-up with Jones.
In a video uploaded to his Thiccc Boy YouTube channel, the podcaster said: “You’re a one percenter; you’ve got to start acting like it. What I’m saying is, ‘stick up for yourself, dude’. Because right now, you’re getting bullied. He’s gonna be the alternate. In the heavyweight division, when have we ever seen a f***ing alternate, be more talented than the two guys f***ing fighting?
“I’m not saying, go against the UFC. I’m not saying, talk s**t to them. That’s not the way to go. I’m saying, stick up for yourself. You’ve got to have this marketing around, you’re the very best, Jon [Jones] and Stipe [Miocic] ain’t s**t, ‘I’d beat both of them in the same night. I’ll fight both of them right now’.
“But the respectful, ‘Jon’s good, I just think I’m a little better. I’d love to fight you’, that ain’t gonna do it. You go, ‘You ain’t s**t. I don’t like the way you represent the company. Yeah, you did great at light heavyweight; heavyweight is my division. I will f**k your world up anywhere it goes. Striking you ain’t s**t. You want to go to the ground? Bring it, [I] grew up in a jiu-jitsu gym. What else you got’?
“This Stipe fight is a f***ing s**t show. Nobody wants to watch it. This is what we need.”
Tom Aspinall suggests heavyweight tournament
With his dream fight with Jones still a long way from signed, Aspinall has come up with an interesting idea to settle who the best really is.
In addition to himself, the heavyweight champion and Miocic, Alex Pereira, also believes he has a claim to the throne.
The hard-hitting 205-pound title holder says he’s capable of stepping up another weight class to win a historic third UFC belt.
With that in mind, at the UFC 304 post-fight press conference, Aspinall pitched the idea of a tournament in which the four legends battle it out for the crown.
