Conor McGregor and Sean O’Malley share words online after drug test revelation

UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley has branded Conor McGregor as ‘mentally weak’ after the two traded barbs online following a drug test revelation from O’Malley.

Sean O’Malley has always been very publically fond of ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor, giving him credit for growing the sport exponentially.

This year, though, their relationship seems to have hit the rocks, as they have gone at each other online several times. Earlier this year, O’Malley got caught in the crossfire of McGregor‘s online rant about boxer, Ryan Garcia, starting their online battle.

Sean O’Malley shares information about previously failed drug tests

Back in 2018, ‘Suga’ tested positive for Ostarine which further led to a six-month suspension from competition. He didn’t return to the Octagon until two years later.

The violation is not forgotten by many, including McGregor, who has been reminding him of his wrongdoings this year.

However, the 29-year-old has attempted to clear his name and has shared some new information regarding his failed tests.

“I got suspended a couple of years ago, and it always drove me crazy any time people would bring it up because they’d be like, ‘You did steroids’, I didn’t do s*** f****** p******,” O’Malley explained on the recent episode of the Timbo and Sugar Show.

“I remember when it happened my levels were so low, the scientists were like, it has to be a tainted supplement. They tested all the supplements I was taking at the time and there was nothing in there.

“It was me Tanquinho, and Kyler (Phillips), we all trained at the same gym, all tested (positive), all levels so f****** low, none of us took anything, we all swore on our lives,” the champion continued.

The bantamweight king went on to explain how new studies have come out, suggesting that Ostarine can be transferred through sweat, which he has claimed is how he tested positive.

“I remember asking USADA and the UFC, ‘Can it be transferred through sweat?’ and they said, ‘No, not at this time, there are no studies, it’s never happened’. Just recently, studies came out, scientists, athletes, it happened, someone was sharing knee bands, they tested (positive) for Ostarine and they tested the knee band.

“It came back that Ostarine and those kinds of tainted supplements can be through sweat exchange. It f***** with me for so long. Jeff Novitsky texted me the other day, he said ‘Check this out’, I saw his name pop up and had a heart attack,” O’Malley shared.

Conor McGregor laughs off O’Malley’s revelation

Despite O’Malley’s revelation, it was subtly laughed off by the 36-year-old Irishman who likely isn’t a believer in the new studies O’Malley talks about.

This once again led to ‘Suga’ biting back at the former two-weight world champion, labeling him a ‘mentally weak’.

“Miss the old Conor, you fell off bud. Still a fan tho. I actually don’t care you are 1-4 in your last 5 I’m still excited to watch. Hope the toe is feeling better.

“Conor isn’t in anyone’s GOAT talk. Entertainment yes but skills, no. Has a really good left hand. S*** cardio. Weak Jits. Decently athletic. Mentally weak. Drug addict, needs rehab. 1-4 last 5 fights. Still fan tho. Hope toe heals up,” O’Malley commented.

The broken pinky toe of McGregor, the injury that forced him out of his scheduled June 29 comeback, is healed according to the outspoken Irishman.
