Jake Paul is utterly convinced he’s winning the battle of the minds, as his blockbuster fight with Mike Perry draws closer.
The pair of sporting titans are set to clash in an eagerly-anticipated boxing match on Saturday night at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, USA.

Jake Paul claims he’s getting the better of the trash talk ahead of his scrap with Mike Perry
With the whole world watching, Jake Paul and Mike Perry will trade blows in a bout that has caught the imagination of the combat sports community.
While ‘The Problem Child’ was initially scheduled to go head-to-head with Mike Tyson, an ulcer flare-up onboard a plane forced the former heavyweight boxing champion out of the contest, giving ‘Platinum’ an opportunity to step up to the plate and give everyone a bout they can get their teeth sunk into.
Blessed with a larger-than-life personality, Perry brings not only his relentless work rate and explosive style to the table, but also his hilarious trash talk, refusing to shy away from a war of words with his rival.
Since sharing a heated sparring session many years ago, the brawler has dreamed of the opportunity of being able to render Paul unconscious. And now, he has his chance.
However, before he sets foot in the ring, he first has to deal with the circus that comes with squaring-off with his YouTuber nemesis.
As has become a bit of a tradition ahead of his fights, Paul will ring up his opponents and pretend to be a journalist, engaging in an interview which starts off professional, before soon descending into chaos.
On this occasion, the Cleveland native asked his opponent: “What are you going to do when Jake Paul knocks you the f*** out and shoves his c*** down your throat?”
An annoyed Perry shouted expletives down the phone. However, he seemed in far better spirits during their face-off, which somehow ended up in a WWE-esque battle of testosterone as they strived to talk in the most masculine voice possible.
Ultimately, the UFC veteran is a seasoned warrior, who won’t be deterred by Paul’s antics. Regardless, that hasn’t stopped the social media star from claiming he’s in his head.
During episode one of MVP Uncut, he claimed: “The face-to-face was hilarious, very entertaining to say the least. It’s just like every time I sit face-to-face with my opponents, they don’t know what’s coming, they’re out of their comfort zone.
“They think everything is sweet, and then they get into the ring, get hit with the first jab, and then, it’s over for them shortly.
“Everything we’ve done, all the prank calls, all that s**t, I can tell it’s bothering him.”
Logan Paul is livid with fans saying Mike Perry will beat Jake Paul
As is always the case when the content creator gears up for action, his brother, Logan Paul, starts making his feelings known.
Harboring a deep love for his brother, The WWE USA champion struggles to comprehend how anyone could possibly beat his sibling.
Despite Perry possessing an iron jaw, solid striking skills exhibited in bare-knuckle boxing and an engine capable of overwhelming even the toughest of fighters, ‘The Maverick’ is still convinced that the fight is a mismatch.
Struggling to contain his rage, he took to Instagram to tell all the doubters exactly what he thinks of them.
