With an itch to fight Mike Perry still left unscratched, an ex-UFC star would love the opportunity to go head-to-head with his rival in the BKFC ring.
Since leaving the world’s premier MMA promotion, ‘Platinum’ has gone on an incredible run, showcasing his grit and determination to accumulate a 5-0 record with his unique skillset in the bare-knuckle boxing realm.

Uriah Hall wants to fight Mike Perry in BKFC
When Uriah Hall first arrived on the scene, he captivated fans with his incredible strikes, most notably rendering Adam Cella unconscious with a brutal head kick in possibly the most ferocious finish The Ultimate Fighter has ever seen.
However, despite his potential, the athlete never quite reached the heights expected of him, walking away from the organization in 2022, having never competed for the title.
But while his career in MMA has come to an end, his combat sports journey is still very much alive. Less than a year after making the switch to boxing, he picked up a win over NFL star, Le’Veon Bell, and will square off with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr on the Jake Paul vs Mike Perry undercard on July 20.
However, while he’s undoubtedly training hard for the task at hand, he’s already got his eye on one-half of the main event, with the 39-year-old keen to secure a BKFC bout with ‘Platinum’, recently revealing that he’s upset by a comment Perry made several years ago.
WOW: Mike Perry was in talks to fight Dillon Danis in MMA before signing to box Jake Paul
In an interview on the Jaxxon Podcast, he explained: “I would fight Mike Perry. I would dabble in bare knuckle. I would just because he was talking some s**t. What did he say the other day? ‘Well, I’m 2% black. I’m like, motherf****r, I dare you to say that s**t around me. I’ll f****** kill you.
“Say that word around me. [It doesn’t] bother me, but the way he’s talking about the privilege of it. I was like, alright, motherf****r, you didn’t get no black card to say that s**t. So, that’s one reason, of course.”
The comments Perry made were in reference to a DNA test he took in 2021. He has since apologized for any offence caused.
He posted on Twitter: “I know some won’t care, but some might appreciate this. This is for my son and me as a son to be different than my father. Also, black history month I would like to apologize for any time I ever said n***a, plain and simple you won’t hear it from me anymore.”
Mike Perry and Uriah Hall clash on social media
Since leaving the UFC behind, Perry has put together an impressive streak in BKFC, utilizing his formidable chin and remarkable engine to overwhelm and ultimately drown his opponents.
In April, he claimed his latest scalp, with a destructive victory over Thiago Alves. However, while the victory was dramatic, his post-fight argument with Hall was even more so.
The pair exchanged heated words during a text conversation, which Perry later shared on social media.
Adressing the situation, Hall explained: “He was coming at me the other day, Chael [Sonnen] was talking, hyping him up something. I kind of sent an emoji, nothing bad. I just sent him one of these [a quizzical emoji]. Then he came at me, I was like, bro, what are you doing?
“I have your number. You could have texted me this. [Perry’s like] “No motherf****r, you just trying to put me down…’ I was like, you sound like an angry black man. What the f*** is wrong with you? He came at me, man.
“Mike, I hope everything is all right with you. I hope you figure it out. But at, at this given moment, f*** you.”
With so much bad blood between the pair, the fans would love to see them settle their differences once and for all. However, they must first focus on their bouts ahead, as neither Paul nor Chavez Jr are coming to make up the numbers.
