Fans react as Jamahal Hill sends Alex Pereira another warning message ahead of his title defense at UFC 303

Ahead of Alex Pereira’s title defense against Jiri Prochazka this coming Saturday at UFC 303, former champion and rival, Jamahal Hill has sent the Brazilian a warning message.

Jamahal Hill seemingly still hasn’t gotten over his UFC 300 loss to Alex Pereira this past April, continuing to claim that Herb Dean’s intervention resulted in the devastating knockout.

The former champion was originally supposed to be fighting on the International Fight Week card against Khalil Rountree Jr, but the latter was suspended due to a positive drug test. With that, Hill was rebooked to fight Carlos Ulberg, but just a few weeks out, ‘Sweetdreams’ withdrew due to a knee injury.

The 33-year-old clearly wants a rematch with ‘Poatan’ as he feels hard done by from their first meeting. In a 40-minute video on his YouTube channel, Hill sent the Brazilian a warning message ahead of his title fight this weekend.

“Alex has got his own task ahead of him this weekend… best of luck to you in this fight and in this rematch with Jiri because if you lose, I don’t give a f*** if they offer me a title shot. It’s me and you,” Hill claimed in his YouTube video.

“You win, I’m going to starch the next guy and I’ll see you soon. You lose, I’ll see you real soon,” the former champion continued.

The 33-year-old, though, may have to wait his turn as Magomed Ankalaev is likely the next contender and Pereira has already mentioned that he wants to ‘shut fans up’ by fighting the dominant grappler next.

Fans mock Hill for sending Pereira another warning message

A few weeks ago, Hill spoke out properly for the first time since his loss to Pereira in April, taking offense at the Brazilian’s post-fight celebration.

After once again breaking down their first fight and commenting on the referee’s intervention, UFC fans have begun to mock Hill for continuing to talk about the fight.

“You just know bro spends an unhealthy amount of time thinking about Poatan,” one fan commented.

Also in his YouTube video, Hill responded to fans who have been calling him ‘salty’ for missing out on the UFC 303 opportunity and seeing Pereira get the call-up.

“It’s a strange concept to me seen as how I willingly gave up the title for this type of motion and this type of movement to be happening,” Hill added.

Despite that, fans have continued to jab at the former light heavyweight champion.

Another fan commented: “The more he opens his mouth the more MMA fans laugh at him. Jamahal Hill you seep of insecurity.”
