A huge brawl between Nate Diaz’s and Jorge Masvidal’s team broke out yesterday at a press conference ahead of their boxing fight on July 6.
After Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal competed against each other in the inaugural ‘BMF’ title fight in the UFC, the two decided that now they’re no longer with the promotion, they will rematch in the boxing ring.
Their fight was originally scheduled to take place on June 1, at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, however, so that the event didn’t clash with UFC 302, they rearranged the fight to take place on July 6, from the Honda Center in Anaheim.

Huge brawl erupts at press conference with Masvidal in the middle
Diaz and Masvidal have always adopted the mentality of ‘anytime, anywhere’, and although things have always remained cordial outside of the UFC Octagon, this past Thursday was a different story.
In the second press conference on the lead-up to their July 6 fight, a huge brawl broke out between the two teams with Nate seemingly not involved.
‘Gamebred’, though, was right in the middle of the action and looked to have eaten a few punches in the process.
The brawl erupted after the 39-year-old slapped the hand of one of Diaz’s team, and in retaliation, the member of Diaz’s team returned a hefty left hand on the chin of Masvidal, sparking the melee.

After not involving himself in the initial melee, another video surfaced of Diaz backstage with a small amount of his team, shouting down the hallway at Masvidal and a few members of his team.
“They’re trying to pull up on us right now. What the f*** are you looking at?” Diaz shouted. “Come down here and get your ass’ whipped in, sorry motherf******,” Diaz continued.
As ‘Gamebred’ and his team began to be turned around and walked away by security, Diaz shouted, “Yeah, turn around b****.”
Following the chaos at the press conference, Diaz took to social media to show that he somehow got hold of the cap that Masvidal was wearing. In the video, Nate can be seen throwing the cap on the floor and stepping on it.
Of course, Masvidal wasn’t going to sit back without issuing a response to the carnage, and taking to X after the brawl, ‘Gamebred’ said: “Nate Diaz, p****. You sent your guy to take your ass whipping. Don’t run from that July 6 date motherf*****.”
