UFC commentator Daniel Cormier has revealed a message that he has been sent by Michael Chandler, ahead of his UFC 303 fight against Conor McGregor.
Ahead of his highly anticipated welterweight fight against Conor McGregor, Michael Chandler is feeling more confident than ever that he will score a knockout win.
‘Iron’ Mike last competed in 2022 when he was rear-naked-choked by Dustin Poirier in round three of their blockbuster fight. Similarly, McGregor’s last fight came against ‘The Diamond’, and June 29th will mark his first fight since his career-ending leg break.

Daniel Cormier reveals a message he was sent by Michael Chandler
UFC commentator, Daniel Cormier, has revealed a message he has been sent by Michael Chandler ahead of his big fight, detailing a ‘creative’ celebration he has in mind.
“So Michael Chandler, dude I told you this guy is confident, I got a message and it’s a video of Mike and I’m pretty sure it went out to a lot of people and it said, ‘What’s up guys, see you at the top on June 29th, I want you to have a drink with me.” Cormier said on his YouTube channel.
“It’s the beat Conor McGregor (drink). And he said ‘Put your address in this text message and I’m sending you out a mixture of drinks to make for when I knock out Conor McGregor’.” Cormier stated.
Although it is the Irishman who is more well known for his involvement in the alcohol business, the 38-year-old, Chandler, invested in Tequila company, Hiatus, late last year.
“It’s a list of ingredients that he’s sending to your house to make sure that when he knocks out Conor, he wants Instagram videos of people drinking this drink. It’s a very creative thing.” Cormier added.

Daniel Cormier questions McGregor’s fight preparation
Former UFC title challenger, Chael Sonnen, told Bloody Elbow in an exclusive interview that the Irishman doesn’t have a ‘punchers chance’ against the motivated Chandler, because of the difference in preparations.
Conor McGregor recently took part in a livestream surrounded by his Proper 12 whisky and Forged Irish Stout, and went off on several UFC fighters during the process.
During the livestream, the 35-year-old shared several comments about former rival, Khabib Nurmagomedov, which Cormier has labeled as ‘jealousy’. That though, isn’t ‘DC’s’ biggest concern – it is whether McGregor is preparing properly.
“Is it more concerning though that we are about six weeks away from this fight and it seems as though McGregor is sitting on the couch, drinking and he’s about to fight Michael Chandler.
“At some point he lost that, like, I think he’s still a fighter, make no mistake about it, I think he’s still a fighter and a high level fighter but I think at some point he kind of lost that love for everything that comes with that game.” Cormier added.
