UFC fan favorite brands Michael Chandler ‘fake’ in hopes of a future fight against him

Renato Moicano has branded Michael Chandler as ‘fake’ ahead of Chandler’s huge fight against Conor McGregor at UFC 303, on June 29th.

Renato Moicano has become one of the UFC’s most popular fighters in recent years after his rise on social media and his change to ‘Money’ Moicano.

After going on a three-fight win streak, with his most recent coming against Jalin Turner at UFC 300 this past month, the Brazilian has shared his opinion on the upcoming welterweight fight between Michael Chandler and Conor McGregor.

Renato Moicano brands Michael Chandler ‘fake’

Moicano competed at the UFC Fight Pass Invitational 7 grappling event this past Wednesday, scoring a win over Cristian Guzman. In the post-match press conference, the 34-year-old admitted that he thinks Chandler is ‘fake’, in hopes of a McGregor win.

“I pray to the MMA Gods that Conor (McGregor) wins that fight because f*** Michael Chandler.” Moicano stated after his grappling match win.

“I don’t want to talk too much s***, but I think Michael Chandler is fake. I don’t know why, I look at him and he seems fake to me. But I don’t know him, just my impression maybe I’m wrong.” Moicano added.

Although ‘Iron’ Mike’s fight against ‘The Notorious’ McGregor is going to be contested at welterweight, ‘Money’ Moicano has claimed that ‘maybe one day’ he can ‘beat the s***’ out of Chandler.

“Maybe one day I can beat the s*** out of him and see if it’s true.” the Brazilian stated.

‘Money’ Moicano calls for boxing fight against Ryan Garcia

Moicano’s post-fight callouts become more bizarre each time, and after his grappling match, he stated that he wants to fight ‘steroid abuser’ Ryan Garcia in boxing next. Not only that, but he continued campaigning for a fight against Paddy Pimblett.

The UFC announced their return to Manchester, England, for UFC 304 on July 27th and Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett will likely feature on the event.

Since his win at UFC 300, Moicano has continuously called for a fight against the Scouser, but he isn’t the only one. Fellow lightweights, Bobby Green, Drew Dober, and Matt Frevola also desire fights with the Brit.

“Today I was doing grappling, we MMA fighters can do it all so that’s why next time I want to fight boxing. That little dirthead Ryan Garcia, motherf****** steroid abuser, if I go to boxing I’m going to f*** you up.

“Paddy Pimblett easy f****** money, let’s go.” Moicano finished.

Despite being ranked 10th in the 155lb division and Pimblett not being in the rankings yet, a fight between the two lightweights would likely be extremely entertaining, with both being highly regarded by the UFC fanbase.
