Undefeated UFC featherweight Movsar Evloev has hit back at Dana White following the boss’s criticism of his UFC 297 fight against Arnold Allen.
Movsar Evloev continued his undefeated streak back in January when he narrowly beat British contender, Arnold Allen, in a fight that divided opinion amongst the MMA fanbase.
Despite climbing up the 145lb rankings and sitting at 18-0, the Russian is unlikely to see a title shot come next, with current champion Ilia Topuria opting for fights against Max Holloway and Brian Ortega ahead of Evloev.
Movsar Evloev finally responds to Dana White’s UFC 297 post-fight jab
Following his fight against ‘Almighty’ Allen, UFC CEO Dana White labeled it the ‘least fun fight ever’.

“That fight sucked the wind right out of the arena.” White said following the fight in January. “That was the least fun fight anybody’s ever seen.” he added.
Despite White’s opinion of the fight, a large portion of the UFC fanbase regarded it as a high-level fight between two top featherweight contenders.
Since then, Movsar Evloev has finally commented on White’s comments, accusing him of watching an American Football match during the fight.
“Dana said for some reason, I don’t know maybe he wanted to stimulate me and somehow dampen my championship ambitions a little.” Evloev said on the Badaev Podcast.
“We talked to Dan Lambert after the fight and he says, ‘Movsar, I was sitting next to Dana White during your fight and he was watching American Football.’ Apparently he placed a bet somewhere, I don’t know, maybe he didn’t see my fight at all.” the Russian added.

Movsar Evloev eyeing featherweight fight against Aljamain Sterling
Former UFC bantamweight champion, Aljamain Sterling made his featherweight debut at UFC 300 last month, dominating Calvin Kattar.
Following ‘Funkmaster’s’ win, he debuted in the 145lb rankings at number eight. In an interview on The MMA Hour, the 34-year-old hinted that he wants a fight with the undefeated Russian next.
“I think two grapplers, the way we grapple, it could be some very fun scrambles.” Sterling said.
That is a fight Evloev is keen on and replying to Sterling on X he said, “Brave for you to talk about me. I like it! Call the UFC and fight me. I’m ready.”
Despite both fighters being seemingly keen on the possible title eliminator fight, it is unclear as of yet whether the fight is being targeted by the promotion.
