40-year-old Jim Miller will set another record this weekend at UFC 300 when he takes on Bobby Green, as he becomes the first fighter to compete on UFC 100, 200, and 300.
Jim Miller is 5-1 in his last six fights and is showing no signs of slowing down. He takes on Bobby Green this weekend on the stacked UFC 300 prelims, as he looks to secure himself a spot in the top 15 of the lightweight division.
At UFC 100, Miller fought and beat Mac Danzig in what was only his fourth fight with the promotion. Fast forward to UFC 200, 19 fights later, and he found himself fighting Takanori Gomi where he again picked up the win.
Brock Lesnar is the only other fighter to have competed at both UFC 100 and 200. Jon Jones competed at UFC 100 and was scheduled to fight at UFC 200, but a failed drug test forced him out of his fight with Daniel Cormier.

Jim Miller set to break his own records
Although it is unusual for a fighter at the age of 40 to be ranked in the UFC, if he picks up a win over Green on April 13th, he won’t be the oldest-ranked fighter currently competing in the UFC.
Both Stipe Miocic and Stephen Thompson occupy rankings in their divisions, at 41 years old.
Despite that, Miller can break a few records, of which he is the current record holder. ‘A-10’ is the current record holder for the most wins in UFC history with 26 and the most in lightweight history with 22, another one on Saturday and he sets the bar higher.
Throughout those 22 wins at 155lbs, Miller has accumulated 16 finishes which also gives him the finish record in the lightweight division.
With that, he also holds the all-time UFC appearance record with 43 fights, with his upcoming UFC 300 fight putting him three ahead of second-place Andrei Arlovski – who is scheduled to fight Martin Buday in June.

Miller will call it a day after his 50th UFC fight
In a recent interview with TNT Sports, the 40-year-old admitted that he didn’t expect to get to this point where he’d be competing at UFC 300.
With him being so close to securing a ranking at 155lbs, he has admitted he won’t be retiring anytime soon but has provided an answer of when he will hang up the gloves.
“I said it in an interview just this week, leading up to my 50th UFC fight, I want you guys to know that that’s it. If I get there, that’s it. Cut the gloves off me take them and run. Don’t let me sign another bout agreement.
“It’s been fun but hopefully I get to 50 fights in the UFC, get to 30 wins in the UFC, and then we can call it a wrap.” Miller added.
Leading up to his UFC 300 fight, Miller requested that Bruce Buffer announce him as ‘Jim F****** Miller’, but it has since been vetoed because of the prelims being broadcasted on ESPN. ‘A-10’ said that he and his team or working on a resolution for it.
Miller went on to explain how the nickname ‘F******’ came about originally.
“We’re going to be live on ESPN so the issue is that they don’t want to bleep (Bruce) Buffer. The nickname came about years ago, Joe Silva gave it to me because I just accepted fights.
“I’d love it to still happen maybe the stars will align and things will go about, but yeah if the crowd has to do it, if Bruce has to pause and let everyone in the arena say it, have Bisping up there you know I’ve got ‘The Count’ screaming it, I’m good with any of that, but yeah we’re still working on it.” Miller finished.
