The new promo trailer for UFC 300 features fantasy matchups that never happened, and it’s being hailed by fans online as a “masterpiece” in marketing.
Despite one of the worst posters in recent memory being shared last week, the UFC marketing team has outdone themselves for a second trailer in a row with a brand-new promotional video for UFC 300 being rightly labeled as a ‘masterpiece’ by fans.

We’re only a few weeks away from history-making UFC 300
Following UFC Atlantic City going down last night, we are now just one Fight Night card away from the biggest PPV of the year, UFC 300, scheduled for April 13 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The anniversary PPV features three title fights at the top of the bill and with a grand total of 12 current or former champions set to make the walk, fans will be wanted to be settled down right from the opening bout.
As we start counting down the days until UFC 300, the MMA world leader has raised the promotional bar once again with another stunning PPV trailer featuring dream matchups that never came to fruition.
Fans react to ‘masterpiece’ new promo trailer for UFC 300
During the UFC Atlantic City broadcast last night, the UFC shared its brand-new trailer for the upcoming PPV.
The promo takes fans on a journey through the history of the organization, showcasing some of the icons of the sport that paved the way for the current generation of superstars, as well as a slew of fantasy matchups that never happened:
Some of those dream fights CGI’d into the trailer included Chuck Liddell vs Jon Jones, Ronda Rousey vs Valentina Shevchenko, Daniel Cormier vs Mark Coleman, Alex Pereira vs Anthony Johnson, Frank Mir vs Tom Aspinall, Nick Diaz vs Sean Strickland, and Max Holloway vs BJ Penn.
There was even a feature for the ‘cursed’ lightweight clash between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson, although some fans were disappointed to see that the 2022 version of ‘El Cucuy’ was used, rather than the Ferguson who made his legendary run of 2013-2019.
Unsurprisingly, fans have hailed the new trailer as one of the best promotional videos in recent memory and has already passed the 600,000-view mark on X (Twitter) in just the past few hours.
UFC 300 expected to break every record in T-Mobile history
Speaking to TNT Sports earlier in the week, Dana White teased that UFC 300 is expected to break every record in the T-Mobile arena history thanks to an unbelievably stacked card.
Explaining what the difference is to UFC 100 or 200, White shared “What I wanted was, I wanted it to be, when the first prelim of the night starts, you have to be in front of your television. You can’t miss one fight on this card.”
“We have 12 current and former UFC champions or interim champions, seven pound-for-pound [ranked] fighters, almost every single fight features a ranked contender, 16 ranked fighters in total. And it’s expected to break every record at the T-Mobile Arena.”
“UFC 300 is the greatest combat sports card ever assembled,” said White.
